Best of South Indian: Idli – Sambar: The authentic South Indian sambar is supposed to have a hint of sweetness. Every time we visit Chutneys, I request them to bring sambar, without added sugar. And they always provide one. Generally, the guy taking the order asks if you want Idli’s dunk in Sambar or you want them both separately. So, you can ask them as you like them. I personally always prefer my idli’s floating in sambar, I feel like it makes every bite of it completely packed with that sambar flavor. Without missing even a single portion white. Vada: This is my all-time favorite dish to order. They serve them during only certain fixed times of the day, as the Vadas are best consumed when recently made. After they get cold, they lost the crunchiness and get all soggy. Those piping hot Vadas with a crunchy exterior and soft pillowy interior dipped in that hot sambar are a treat to your tastebuds you just can not resist. Poori: Three huge pooris are served with a really small sized Katori of aloo sabzi. Which is actually pretty bland. The quantity of aloo sabzi was very less, so I requested to bring some more, they readily got me a refill. Dahi vada: Came in a huge bowl. Quantity is really good. Topped with lots of boondi. As much as I can recall it contains three small to medium amounts of vadas. I found the taste just okay. Honestly, the amount of boondi got a bit too much. It kind of overpowered the taste of those vadas. Uthappam: The top of the uttapam was very crispy with a soft bottom. The top was filled with lots of sesame seeds. If you don’t like sesame seeds is not a good option for you, as it was literally packed with them. Loved the flavors, would recommend. Dosas: Masala Dosa: Very filling Dosa. Crispy exterior filled with such flavorful filling. A classic yet delicious plate of dosa. Onion Rawa Masala Dosa: This one is one of the heaviest dish options. I couldn’t finish it all by myself. Yet so so delicious that I just couldn’t stop eating either. Must try. Mushroom Dosa: Being a mushroom lover, I just love their mushroom dosa. It has a very good amount of filling, a generous amount of good quality and fresh mushrooms tastes really good. Garlic Dosa: At first it sounded weird, but we decided to give it a try. And we actually loved it. If you like the taste of garlic, and you like eating garlic naans, you will definitely love it. The quantity of garlic is really good. And they are chopped very nicely too. Paneer Tikka Dosa: Paneer pieces were quite sweet while the gravy was a bit spicy. So it was kind of a weird combination. It was okay. Best of North Indian: Paneer Butter Masala: We asked them to make it spicy, and it tasted great. I wasn’t expecting north Indian food to be that good here, expecting it to be more of a dosa place, but they definitely proved us wrong. Chole Bhature: They serve one huge sized bhatura. Bhatura was good, not very greasy. But I didn’t like their chole. They were not very flavorful and kind of bland. Malai Kofta: I would never recommend you order it, honestly even the waiter warned us while we were ordering it, that it’s going to be really sweet. And asked us to reconsider, but we thought of giving it a shot anyway. And omg it was actually very very sweet. Thick gravy and heavy paneer balls packed with dry fruits. Garlic Naan, Lacha parantha, masala kulcha: They were all good. I would highly recommend trying their masala kulcha

CHUTNEYS, Hitech city, Hyderabad Hyderabad visit is incomplete without some traditional and famous restaturants. And Chuteny is one of it. I recently had Dinner at Chutneys Restaurant in Hyderabad, and it what a Delicious experience it was. Initially I was in little Dilema to go but when I had visited and had dinner , OMG, it all changed. As it was rush Hour at dinner time, little bit wait we have to do but the Hot n Sour soup was full of vegetable and flavourful. There six types chutneys, tomato , peanuts, sesame, coconut were the star actually. The Sambhar I had was the kind of one that I was having first time. Thick and so much flavourful. Ghee Karam Dosa—what a taste . The fiery taste of Gun powder and desi ghee was awesome. MLA Pesarattu Dosa—Filling of Upma in ghee roasted Dosa is so much in quantity . Never had this kind of dosa in my life. I will try making at home , if I can match the taste 😊 Mysore Dosa was really crispy and good. Guntur Idli – Kya baat. Anna,,,, U made my day with this. Small tiny idlis with Karam Powder. I really wanted to have coffee but there was not enough space in my tummy, and I had to skip it. All the food we had were absolutely scrumptious and worth visiting the place. Staff , specially the uncle who was taking the orders and managing was really helpful. Parking is available outside the premises.

I recently visited Chutneys Restaurant inside the food court of Inorbit Mall in Hyderabad, and here's my honest review. Chutneys is a popular South Indian restaurant chain, and I was excited to try their food. We ordered the plain dosa, which was decent, but what truly impressed me was the variety of chutneys they served - a whopping six types! The coconut, peanut, ginger, mango, and other seasonal chutneys were all flavorful and added a nice touch to our meal. Food Highlights: - Plain Dosa: Satisfactory, but not exceptional - Variety of Chutneys: A standout feature, with six types served alongside every order - Guntur Idli: A popular item on their menu, loved by many reviewers Ambiance and Service: The restaurant had a decent ambiance, but the service was average. Some reviewers mentioned that the service could be slow, especially during peak hours. Value for Money: With prices ranging from moderate to high, Chutneys might not be the best option for budget-conscious diners. However, the quality of food and variety of chutneys make it worth considering. Recommendation: If you're a fan of South Indian food and variety, Chutneys is a good option. Be sure to try their Guntur Idli and indulge in the six types of chutneys they serve with every order.

Chutney Veg Restaurant in Hyderabad: A Vegetarian Culinary Delight

Rating: ★★★★☆

My recent dining experience at Chutney Veg Restaurant in Hyderabad left me thoroughly impressed. As a vegetarian, I am always on the lookout for exceptional dining establishments that cater to my dietary preferences, and Chutney Veg did not disappoint.

Nestled in the heart of Hyderabad, this restaurant offers a warm and inviting ambiance with its contemporary decor and comfortable seating arrangements. The atmosphere is lively, yet not overly noisy, allowing for enjoyable conversations while savoring the flavorsome dishes.

Chutney Veg specializes in vegetarian cuisine and prides itself on serving a diverse range of culinary delights. The menu boasts a wide variety of dishes inspired by various regional Indian cuisines, ensuring there is something to please every palate. From North Indian classics to South Indian specialties, the restaurant excels in delivering an authentic and satisfying vegetarian experience.

One of the highlights of Chutney Veg is its extensive buffet spread. The buffet offers an array of mouthwatering dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The selection is vast, and each dish is thoughtfully prepared with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The flavors are rich, the spices are well-balanced, and the presentation is appealing, making the dining experience both visually and gastronomically delightful.

The staff at Chutney Veg deserves commendation for their attentive and courteous service. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm smiles and prompt assistance. The servers were knowledgeable about the menu and were quick to recommend popular dishes. Their efficiency in attending to guests' needs, ensuring a comfortable dining experience, added to the overall satisfaction of the visit.

As a lover of Indian street food, I was thrilled to find a dedicated chaat counter at Chutney Veg. The assortment of chaats, ranging from pani puri to bhel puri, was a delightful treat for the taste buds. The flavors were authentic, the ingredients were fresh, and the chaats were prepared right in front of the customers, adding an element of freshness and excitement.

While the food and service at Chutney Veg were exceptional, the restaurant's popularity sometimes led to a crowded dining area, especially during peak hours. However, the efficient staff managed the situation well, ensuring guests were seated in a timely manner.

In conclusion, Chutney Veg Restaurant in Hyderabad is a haven for vegetarian food lovers. With its wide-ranging menu, flavorful dishes, and attentive service, it offers a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to Hyderabad, I highly recommend indulging in the culinary delights of Chutney Veg. Prepare to embark on a vegetarian gastronomic journey that will leave you with a satisfied palate and a desire to...

Right next to my workplace and nestled in the infamous Inorbit Mall Hyderabad . If you look for Quality perhaps this is the place you should be considering.

Type of Resturant : Pure Vegeterian Cuisine : South Indian , however they serve A lot of north indian / Chinese stuff too . USP : Dosas, Idlys , thalis and Chutneys!

Here is my P.A.S.T.A Review

P ( Parking ) - 5/5 - Ample parking available as its in Inorbit Mall , Lifts are a problem though if you are in prime weekend hours. Parking is free if you show your food receipt while exiting

A(Ambiance ) - 4/5 - Decent decor and sturdy furniture , I would't rate this a fine dine , it gets a bit noisy and not very quiet . Vegetarians who visit inorbit mall for shopping are the usual occupants. Its busy on weekends but they have a good waiting area , no pre-reservations accepted.

S(Service ) - 5/5 - Super quick service if you order regular stuff and quick service if you order not so standard stuff. No complaints here

T(Taste and Quality ) - 4/5 - Decent Taste but not out of the world tasty, however you get different kinds of chutneys which are tasty ( around 6 of them ) and they maintain utmost hygiene at the restaurant , The spice levels are mild to moderate and same goes with the usage of Oil. Even westerners can enjoy a sumptuous South Indian meal here.

A(Affordability ) - 3/5 - The price point is a bit weak here and for the stuff that you get , they have kept it higher than normal ( Outsource quality comes for a price ).

Overall experience 5/5 : Very impressive and quite fulfilling , a must visit with your family.

Cons :Though there aren't many cons that I can think of but they should stop bottled water supplies as its not that Eco friendly. They do this across their branches and I don't understand why , its not that hard to provide filtered...
