Golden Pavilion Fine Dine Restaurant — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Recently, we visited Golden Pavilion Restaurant and ordered their Mutton Marag and the most popular Special Shahi Gosht Biryani. The experience was a mix of highs and many lows.

To start with the positives, the ambiance was decent, and the Mutton Marag was flavorful. The taste and seasoning were just right, and it was a good start to the meal. The Special Shahi Gosht Biryani was excellent. The mutton pieces were tender, and the rice was aromatic and flavorful. We were satisfied with the food’s quality and taste.

However, the service and response time were extremely disappointing. We arrived at the restaurant around 3 PM, and since there were no vacant tables, the staff requested us to share a table with another group. While this was inconvenient, we agreed because we were very hungry.

We placed our order at 3:15 PM but received the Mutton Marag only at 3:45 PM after repeatedly reminding the staff. The Biryani, shockingly, arrived at 4:05 PM—45 minutes after ordering. Despite us sharing the table, the management confused our order with the other couple seated with us. The staff claimed the Biryani was being cooked only at 3:50 PM, which was frustrating.

By the time our food arrived, we were starving, and the delay completely ruined the experience. It’s unacceptable for a restaurant to ask customers to share tables and then fail to manage orders properly. This is not how you treat customers. Making them wait for such a long time, even after reminders, is unacceptable. Proper coordination and communication among the staff are essential, and they must take orders more seriously.

While the food was great, the poor service and response time overshadowed the experience. Unless they significantly improve their service and response time , I would hesitate to recommend this restaurant. Very disappointing and not...

We had an unforgettable dining experience at Golden Pavilion, thanks to the exceptional service and mouth-watering dishes. The standout stars of the meal were:

Mulakaya Mutton Rost: A flavorful and tender mutton dish that melted in our mouths. Mutton Chops: Perfectly grilled and seasoned, these chops were a delight. Biryani: Aromatic and flavorful, the biryani was cooked to perfection. Mutton Marag: A rich and comforting dish that warmed our hearts.

But what truly made our experience special was Sudip.

His warm welcome and attentive service set the tone for a fantastic meal. Sudip's suggestions were spot on, and he ensured that our glasses were always full. His knowledge of the menu and passion for the food were evident in the way he presented each dish.

Sudip's enthusiasm was infectious, and he made sure we felt like family. His friendly demeanor and prompt service made our dining experience truly memorable.
