I recently visited a restaurant that claimed to serve authentic beef biryani. However, my experience there was not a pleasant one. The beef biryani was subpar, to say the least. The rice was broken and lacked the characteristic flavors of biryani. The meat was hard and chewy, and there were a lot more tendons, fat, and bone than I expected. The flavor was lacking, and the additional add-ons provided with it did not make up for the lack of taste in the dish.
To make matters worse, there was no option to pay with a card or scan and pay, which was quite inconvenient. The location of the restaurant was also quite dingy and lacked the elegance that one would expect from a restaurant serving biryani. The overall atmosphere was disappointing.
Moreover, hygiene was questionable, and the condition of the restaurant left a lot to be desired. I was left wondering how this restaurant had managed to garner good reviews online. I had visited the area specifically for good biryani, and I had been told that Amfah Hotel had the best biryani in town. After trying the beef biryani at this restaurant, I got the family pack from Amfah Hotel, and it was indeed excellent.
In conclusion, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The beef biryani was disappointing, and the lack of hygiene and overall atmosphere made the experience even more unpleasant. It is unclear why this restaurant has so many good reviews online. If you are looking for good biryani, I would suggest skipping this restaurant altogether and heading straight to...
Read moreThough the biryanis are good here but the reason for hype is the haleem they make in Ramzan. You would not have tasted such rich and tasty haleem anywhere else in the world. But be mindful its made of beef. Its available only during Ramzan and its difficult to buy coz they dont have any branches and the place itself is very small. It always get sold out in few hours.
Some tips to get your hand on it: Go early around 4pm or so and buy it when the crowd is still less. If you go little late like around 6 pm then be prepared for the hustle. Park your vehicle a bit far or in the side lanes adjacent to the restaurant. Make sure you dont carry wallet or mobile phone in your pocket. Better to take tokens for single plate of haleem than taking a family or bigger pack. The queue for single box is seperate and less crowded. If you happen to take family or diamond pack coupon then try not to loose them. Be careful as there would be stampede like situation when you enter the queue for getting haleem. I saw many of them getting hurt.
All in all its worth all these efforts coz the haleem is...
Read moreThe only good thing about this place is the food, however, it is the worst place in terms of cleanliness, used water bottles and papers were thrown under the tables, It's unfortunate to see the cleaning staff themselves throwing used water bottles and papers under the dining tables rather than in dustbins.
when we asked them to clean, the steward said bhai dusre jagah baith jao, however, the entire hotel was the same.
When we asked for a tissue to clean the plates, we were given newspaper to clean the plates. There was a bad drainage smell near the wash basin area, and there was full water logged near the water dispenser. It felt like we were sitting near GHMC dust bins and eating food. It's disappointing that such a recognizable brand can't even provide a single tissue to clean the plates.
Please enhance your cleanliness.....
