Worst Experience Ever - Absolute Disappointment
I recently ordered food from Hotel Swagath Grand (Danturi Group of Hotels) through Zomato, and I must say, this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. I ordered a dish worth 210, and what I received was beyond unacceptable. The delivery consisted of just 20 grams of chicken and approximately 80 grams of biryani rice.
It's clear that the restaurant either ran out of stock or didn't care about the quality and quantity they were sending. If a dish is no longer available, the responsible thing to do is to mark it as unavailable on the menu or temporarily close the outlet on the platform. Sending out leftover scraps to customers is utterly unprofessional and reflects poorly on your service standards.
I'm not someone who takes such incidents lightly.
I have the KOT number and order details and will take this up with the Department of Food Safety. Additionally, I will personally visit the restaurant to check who packed and approved this order.

Read moreMany times I heard from those who worked in top 5 star rating Restaurants saying that if a restaurant says complimentary item that is for sure 'not a fresh food'. I experienced this today. We ordered Chicken Biryani through Swiggy for which they also sent a complimentary dessert - Double ka Meetha. Every time we order from Parivaar but this time we ordered from 'Swagath Grand - Anandbagh' where the double ka meetha was horrible. It was completely spoiled - a sour taste.
The entry of Swiggy / Zomato / or any intermediary has made more difficult to contact the restaurant. Initial swiggy customer care said they would make a replacement and then again they said that the item is not available.
Whether they replace it or not is secondary, but most important point to note is .... they just dispatch unhygienic / spoiled / stale items as complimentary is just to attract the orders... because once the order is delivered, people may not complain about the complimentary stale food or even if complained, since it is complimentary... they escape simply by apologizing as Swiggy customer care did.
So the next time when they say complementary... do not fall in the TRAP. Be wise! Because wise people learn from others...

The payment we can made in multiple options as cash, card, UPI, etc. The menu has very vast choice to select from both veg and non veg. Menu is also attached with this review.
