NEW SHREELOS MANDI RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Hyderabad

The ambience of the restaurant might inform you of a classy affair but it is nothing but that. Typical of other mandi places you will find in the city, Habibi Mandi also offers carpeted and cushioned pits to sit and eat. These are divided with small canals that are well-lit and brimming with aquatic life. Children will be entertained with this.

I'm posting this review after reaching home from a Sunday lunch at this restaurant. We had a starter (Chicken tikka) and then the main course (two half mutton juicy mandi). The starter was tasty but a bit hard to chew. The mayonnaise was a tad bit sweeter than I have had before. One half juicy mutton mandi is big enough to be shared between two. I'd grade it a 7/10.

Though the restaurant offers reasonably tasty food, the staff is another matter altogether. They welcomed us all nice. But as the crowd gathers outside, the staff walks around the customers, indicating an urgency. The waiter who came to facilitate the bill payment did not even listen to my instructions regarding card swiping and went ahead trying the wrong method. I had asked for half of our Mandi to be parcelled. They packed it and gave. But as soon as we received the package, the girl who had welcomed us earlier arrived and unceremoniously asked us to leave as there were other customers waiting. I have never received such a bad experience from a fine dining establishment in Hyderabad.

After reaching home, I opened the packet to see that they had parceled only the rice from the mandi we ordered and had conveniently not included the large piece of meat. So not only was this visit something that resulted in an insult but also something that cost me in terms of money paid for the food I ate.

Perhaps this establishment can take a few lessons in ethics at the same time teach its staff some manners in dealing with...

Actually I want to give -5 star rating for this restaurant. Worst Mandi I ever had. I have went to this restaurant because of Instagram influencers. I have regretted after having food in this restaurant we have ordered Mandi platter And Paneer tikka . We got the paneer tikka first and the taste of it is too bad they not even added salt and spice to paneer he just oil roasted the paneer and served to us . We have canceled the Starter and after we got the Mandi to our surprise it is dam bad than Paneer even the fish pieces or not cooked properly and the rice is also completely boiled like paste . Literally we haven’t had one fourth of the Mandi we left the food there and paid the bill . If there is any good thing better go for deserts apricot delight is really good . Last but not least don’t waste your money on this restaurant better to choose a better location than this.

What ever I posted is completely true . we have visited your restaurant on 16 June at 10:30 we have Complain the same with one of your manager hope they Haven’t shared the Feedback with you. For our surprise you guys has offered 5% discount on total bill for the worst hospitality. In fact we have to laugh on our self for opting restaurant like yours. Better serve customers good food not...

I wouldn't even give 1star for the experience we had over here. We have travelled for 1 hour, we thought it would be worth going all the way just because of all the reviews we saw. After going there there is little waiting as it is weekend. Service here in my case it's worst. We all were so hungry and wanted to order something in the first place. We called a waiter and we are trying to order something, instead of taking the order the waiter is telling the items are not available or its gonna take more time. We are okay with waiting and we want to order few items which are available but he is not listening to what we are saying and he was just speaking about the items that are not available. Though we are ok to wait he indirectly kept on telling us we will be able to deliver only this few items only order from those. We are ordered chicken mandi, and juicy mutton mandi, fried prawns, grilled fish and french fries.

Fried prawns were too oily, Chicken mandi and juicy mutton mandi just tastes ok and the rice is little oily. Fish tastes ok.

We are very dissatisfied with food...
