Pista House Vanasthalipuram — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Commercial not customer friendly, I just recently had first birthday event of my baby in pista house banquet Very worst on management part. Firstly there so many rules and regulation as compared to other banquet starting with the in house decor Mr Ranveer so much of attitude and he charges so much that a simple decor he quoted more then 30k I felt he doesn't has a proper experience but the way the bluff is stupid these people have an attitude that a customer if he has booked the banquet means they will not go anywhere and they have to bear whatever he quotes else he'll get the royalty, at any cost he is profitable. Royalty also 15k 🤣 where it's usually just 3-5k between if it's banquet.

Very strange I have done so many events, being a event manager I have seen any banquet or any function hall have in house decor but this pista house has in house events management handler too who doesn't has anything available with him and same chargers are more than what it is in the market

Coming towards the manager of the house Mr Kiran he such a sweet person till the event is going to happen and when it's actual time of the event this person turns from a sweet to such a sour , They forced us so much before n during the start of event that we had to pay the whole amount even to start the welcome starters.

It was my mistake that without checking the reviews on the Google we had book this banquet

Now I understand how other people who had celebrated there events in this particular place would have suffered so much

Due to current situation of examinations of all the childrens a day prior we just asked to make the booking for less by 50 plates even that wasn't accepted still as we dint not wanted to create issue. As expected the guest arrived was lesser than what we have quoted as we had already paid the amount prior for all the plates what we have quoted even the leftover food for almost 90-100 ppl was not even given and I really wonder if that was not given to us what wud they do wth so much food will that be reused in their restaurant in upcoming days

Even the starters were not served properly just one or two rounds and that's it finished Food taste is awesome this was the main reason without any reviews about the banquet that I had book this but at the end when it comes to the whole management and the service what pista houses has given was worst , I almost paid for 100 plates extra when it's wasn't utilized and even food was not provided back to customer this was actually strange to rethink later,

This was my worst n wrong decision ever made the other vendors who I have hired for the event like DJ dance floor the decor company,the service left is so small that they had to climb with all their instruments all the way...

Top points about the place: The restaurant is located on vanasthalipuram-lb nagar main road and it glows in beautiful golden color lights in the night so it is easy to be spotted and reached. The ambience inside the restaurant is lovely. We went in as a family of 8 and we felt it was comfortable. The lighting, the seating was all very nice. The service staff are very good. They are not as super friendly as you get in BBQ Nation or ABs but they are patient enough to take ur orders and suggestions on the food that u order. The taste is absolutely amazing, we ordered 2 soups, 3 starters, 2 biryanis, rumali rotis and mixed veg curry. All of them tasted fantastic. The Pricing is also very reasonable. As said above we were 8 people and ordered many dishes and our bill was nearly 2800. Please make sure u r tipping sufficiently and well enough to the waiters/ servers as they work very very hard and they earn very very less, so lets try and do our part in helping them out.

Things to improve: The parking space is very limited so if u r one of the early ones to reach the restaurant you can get a parking space in front of / near to the restaurant (only 2-wheeler parking available) otherwise you need to get creative in parking ur vehicle in the street next to it. If u r coming in a 4-wheeler, you have to park in the next street as you dont have any other option. But when you do so, make sure you are parking sensibly and responsibly. Please dont create inconvenience to others by parking in a crazy way. The waiting periods are long here and unfortunately there is no facility to book a table via phone or any website in advance. You need to come directly to the restaurant and if u r lucky, then u will have available seating and u will get in, otherwise u need to give ur name at the entry and they will call u once there is seating available. In the mean time, they gave plenty of options in waiting area, you have good lounge couches and many single seats as well. Additionally u can visit Pista House Bakery which is attached to the restaurant on the side, if they tell u to wait 15-20 min but be sure to keep coming back to the entry regularly to check if seating has opened up, because they will not call u on ur mobile if seating has opened and ur...
