Food was good, we started with butter naan, tandoori, panneer tikka masal and chicken chatpata. Out of these my fav was panneer tikka masala. Then we continued with special mutton biryani and veg biryani(my mom doesn't eat non veg, so i get to post about veg too!). Special mutton biryani is the same regular biryani with extra mutton pieces. It was sufficient for three of us and my mom couldn't even eat half of the veg that was ordered. The pricing goes below. Tandoori roti -15/- Butter Naan -25/- Panneer tikka masala -210/- Chicken chatpata -210/- Veg biryani -130/- Special mutton biryani -around 280/-(coz i didn't notice the price).
Cons: the washrooms. Before eating i went into the washroom area to wash hands, gents and ladies had same entrance but after passing gents sections we enter ladies section. That stinked like hell. Until i came out i stopped my breathe. Literally i could puke i was feeling worse after coming out. Service was even more worse i asked for water which they didn't get until i asked for third time. Salan n raita they forgot to get until i asked for them. I ordered an other water bottle in between main course, and i asked 4 of the waiters to get it and finally they brought after delay.
The restaurant is still not complete, is undergoing construction in the top floors and behind there is parking getting ready. Parking is also not easy on the main road. The buses going to vijayawada stop nearby so it becomes difficult while parking.
I don't suggest this place until someone is a big fan of shah ghouse. Food is good but only for that we cannot neglect neatness and service which were worser than worse. Few items in menu like paya and pattar ka ghosh n special items are unavailable as it's still under development.

Read moreI recently visited Shah Ghouse Restaurant in LB Nagar and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The moment I stepped in, I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in the dining area. The tables and chairs were sticky, and the floor appeared to be in dire need of a good sweep and mop. This already set a negative tone for the rest of my visit.
The food quality was the most disappointing aspect. I ordered a few dishes, and to my dismay, the food seemed spoiled. The pieces of meat had an unpleasant smell, indicating that they were not fresh. This raised serious concerns about the hygiene standards and food safety practices of the restaurant. Eating spoiled food is not only unappetizing but also a significant health hazard.
Adding to the list of issues, the atmosphere of the restaurant was quite uninviting. The lighting was dim and the overall ambiance felt neglected. The noise level was high, making it difficult to have a peaceful meal.
Parking is another major problem at Shah Ghouse. The restaurant does not offer any dedicated parking space, forcing customers to find parking on the busy streets. This can be quite inconvenient and adds unnecessary hassle to the dining experience.
In summary, Shah Ghouse Restaurant in LB Nagar needs to address several critical issues. Cleanliness, food quality, ambiance, and parking are all areas that require immediate improvement. Until these changes are made, I cannot recommend this restaurant to others looking for a pleasant...
Read moreThis is one of the worst experiences I had with SG. I had been for dinner with my family recently and was surprised to hear their (senseless) rule. As it was Ramadan season we ordered haleem (mini) and a biryani. The waiters there (in the AC dining) informed that they don't serve 'mini' haleem inside and asked to sit in general dining(non ac).
When we went out, the waiters were more rude to us. They don't even care for their customers from whom they are earning their bread and butter. They said if we need 'mini' haleem we need to get and eat outside the dining area and come back to dining for biryani. I tried to convince them that this doesn't make any sense but they were adamant about it and were saying they are just following what they were asked to. We reached out to the cashier to ask about the same (stupid rule) and trust me they were acting like deaf people.
That is when I've decided to never come here again to a place where you don't get respect. Also the taste (of haleem and biryani) was very poor compared to SG in the old city. So guys, if you don't want to struggle like me, I suggest you choose a better place to eat where you get respect and...
