A Bustling Spot for Authentic North Indian Delights - Sri Narsing
If you're on the hunt for some scrumptious North Indian street food, Sri Narsing is your go-to spot. Tucked away in a bustling corner of the city, this eatery might not boast a sophisticated dining ambiance, but it more than makes up for it with its vibrant street-food vibe and mouth-watering dishes.
My absolute favorite had to be the Chole Bhature – perfectly spiced, beautifully fluffy bhature paired with richly flavored chole. It's a dish that transports you straight to the streets of North India with just one bite. But the surprises didn't stop there. The Dahi Vada was another showstopper – soft, melt-in-your-mouth vadas soaked in a perfectly seasoned yogurt sauce. Pure bliss!
While the Pav Bhaji was decent, it didn't quite hit the high notes like the other dishes. However, the Chow Mein and street food staples like Sev Puri and Bhel Puri were spot on, bringing that authentic tangy-spicy flavor that you crave in Indian street food. And to top it all off, the Apricot Dessert was a sweet revelation – a delightful end to a flavorful feast.
Despite the weekend rush and the place being packed to the rafters, the service at Sri Narsing deserves a special mention. It was remarkably fast, with orders flying out in a jiffy, ensuring that the crowded space didn't dampen the dining experience. It's a testament to the efficiency and dedication of the staff, making sure that every patron leaves satisfied.
Sri Narsing is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. It's the kind of place that's perfect for anyone looking to dive into the rich tapestry of North Indian cuisine, served up with speed and a smile, even when there's barely room to move. If you're in the mood for some authentic flavors and don't mind the hustle and bustle, this spot is definitely worth...
Read moreI went to Sri Narsing Bhelpuri in Boggulkunta recently and tried their Chole Kulcha. Honestly, it was good — the chole had a nice masala flavour, not too heavy or oily, and the kulcha was soft, warm, and fresh. The portion was decent for the price, and I liked that they didn’t overdo the oil or spice.
The shop itself is small and simple, nothing fancy, but the staff were friendly and service was pretty quick even though it was a bit crowded when I went. It’s more of a casual, local spot where you can quickly grab a bite.
From what I’ve read in other reviews, people usually come here for bhel puri and pav bhaji, which are their specialities, so I guess the Chole Kulcha isn’t the star dish. But still, I enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it if you’re around Boggulkunta and want something tasty and filling.
I’ll definitely come back next time to try their pav bhaji and bhel puri to see how those taste, because the place seems quite popular for them. Overall, good taste, decent quantity, fair price, and a nice casual vibe for...
Read moreI recently visited Sri Narsing and tried a variety of their dishes. Finding a table was a bit difficult, but the waiter was helpful in assisting us. Parking was also a challenge. As for the food, the pani puri (2/5) was disappointing as it didn’t match typical pani puri standards, and the pani was too cold for my taste. The butter pav bhaji (4/5) was quite good with rich and well-balanced flavors. The vada pav (3.5/5) was decent but didn’t quite match the authentic Mumbai version, though still enjoyable. The masala puri (3/5) had pomegranate, which I personally didn’t like. The virgin mojito was refreshing and well-made, though the twisted straw made sipping a bit difficult. The mango shake (4/5) was delicious, but the mango chunks weren’t as sweet as expected. The mango rabdi falooda was good overall, but the rabdi itself was a letdown. While the food had its hits and misses, the service was helpful, though the overall experience could be improved, especially with parking and table...
