The Coffee Cup — Restaurant in Hyderabad

This place used to be brilliant cozy place be it for lunch or dinner. Over the last few months it has certainly lost its charm.

I have been frequenting this place for over 5 years now and it’s with a rather heavy disappointment that I am writing this review.

We scan code works and to view the menu but does not work if one wants to place an order.

The quality of staff seems to be degraded pretty bad. I have fond memories of coffee cup having excellent staff. But now the guy who comes to take the order sounds like ots a painful matter for him to take the order. I had to Go To the counter there time just to see if some one can attend to us at the table that we were seated at. I have no idea as to how a resturant of this reputation can be out of cold bottle water in the peak of summer at 8.30 in the evening on a Saturday. And this is not the first time that this is happening.

95% of the unpleasant noises at this resturant happens with the serving staff shouting orders or banging the cutlery into their respective holder's.

The serving or waiting staff are absolutely uncouth and badly groomed.

This place has become a irani cafe from back in the days. A waiter clearing the next table takes a rag and just swipes across the table and drops used paper napkins and chilli flakes packets on the floor. He did notice me seeing it and just turned away and walked away like it was nothing.

Now let’s talk food.. after 25 mins of waiting and no one to take the order we finally did place and order which was one potion of French fries. One Oreo chocolate milk shake and Mac and cheese chicken half portion. And the only thing that was edible were the French fries. The Oreo milkshake was way too sweet for. 11 year old.

I have attached the picture of the chicken out into the max and cheese and I wonder how one can eat it with two forks that were given with the dish. The chicken was not edible, it was way too chewy.

Anyway I hope these guys get back to their past glory. I certainly will not be...

This is one of the best place to hangout and chill with your friends and family. Ambiance is too good. The way the tables are arranged outside with grass and view of the street with lots of fresh air and nice slow country music from inside with it's lightings you'll just be in comfort zone. You can come do your work peacefully over here. You can spend a delightful evening with your girl over here.

I ordered 1 Onion rings, 1 Chicken Fingers, 2 Cheesy cream white alfredo, 4 Smoking BBQ Chicken and 1 Cheesy bull.

Onion rings and Chicken Fingers we're good and I liked them.

Cheesy cream white alfredo was so good that I enjoyed every single spoon of it. I loved it. Eating the bun with this pasta it took me to a whole new world.

Then in the end came Smoking BBQ chicken and Cheesy Bull. When I took a bite of the Smoking BBQ Chicken it went down to the bottom of my heart. I had the flavor of it through out my mouth. I enjoyed eating it.

When I took a bite of Cheesy Bull my mouth of filled with full of Cheese and Omelette. It was just as if a Cheesy Bull ran inside my mouth.

All the above costed us 1500RS with GST. The pricing is reasonable and is worth every penny.

Their service was good and serving of food was quick.

But, The Staff were careless and arrogant. They delayed to give us menu card, They delayed to take orders and also they weren't responding to use even when we were calling them. Although they were looking at us and just standing like that.

Apart from Staff the rest was good.

Food was great, Ambiance was good, Service was good and quick, Value for money is justified and Staff was BAD.

Yes this place might be a little expensive but is affordable if you know what to order and is worth...

By checking out the reviews which happened to be completely positive and the hype, we decided to check out this place. I must say its worth the hype. Ambiance was great. This place has indoor and outdoor seating which had limited number of seats which is the only negative point here. If you have a table booked then there is no need to wait.

Coming to food we ordered : Vegetable Club Sandwich, Spaghetti and Paneer Bolognese, Lime Mojito, Hot Chocolate and Chocolate Frappe.

Vegetable Club Sandwich: Its toasted with cheese. It had limited amount of stuffing in it. The stuffing consists of Potato tikki, some veggies, mayonnaise and onions. Its served along with fries. Taste wise, its good and one whole sandwich can make you full.

Spaghetti and Paneer Bolognese: The Spaghetti pasta was cover with minced paneer in bolognese sauce. Good amount of quantity. Taste wise it was less spicy and the sauce makes you get this heavy feeling only after few spoons. It comes along with toasted bread and you can dip it in the bolognese sauce. Overall, it was good.

Lime Mojito: This will eliminate the heavy and full feeling from above dishes. Its refreshing.

Hot Chocolate: It was fine.

Chocolate Frappe: This one was awesome. It was a cold coffee with chocolate served whipped cream/ice-cream on top. If I have to choose between hot chocolate and Chocolate Frappe, I would definitely choose this one.

Tried Fish & Chips, Spicy Fried Chicken Fillet, Veg Platter and Aglio e Olio pasta - AWESOME!

Every dish was presented in a detailed and neat manner. Overall it was a good experience. The staff were polite and humble. I hope you increase the seating capacity other than that, this place is awesome. Worth many...
