So we were in search of some street food in and around bhazar ghat near mallepally and found this turkish central which we found intresting and spent an amazing evening here...

Ambience -

This place is small and has some simple ambience...They have indoor as well as outdoor sitting.This place has the kitchen in the entrance itself and u can see an open grill which is similar to pizza oven which is made in the form of tomb.

Food -

The main part of the review section starts from here... As the name suggests it serves us some amazing salads,shawarmas,wraps,platters and kebabs....

So we had some the following items at this place...

Shawarmas -

Veg Falafel Shawarma - Have you guys ever had a veg shawarma....??? No thats a rare thing which we find but this place serves veg falafel shawarma and their special veg shawarma. We had their veg falafel shawarma.

BBQ Chicken Shawarma - Most of the shawarma places serve us only two or three types of shawarmas but bbq shawarma is one which u should surely try if u are a bbq lover.

Turkish Chicken Shawarma - Here comes their house special chicken shawarma with different veggies where cucumber is commonly used in shawarmas but something capsicum is a rare veggie for shawarma.

The best part of their shawarmas is that they are grilled in charcoal.

Kebabs -

Chicken wings - The chicken used in this was very tender and juicy.

Sufi Kebab - Sufi kebab is one of the chicken kebab which was good.

Kaju kebab - Most of the kebabs are prepared from non-veg and veg but have u ever tried dry fruit kebab.... no not all dry fruits mixed... This kebab is purely prepared from the kaju and then grilled.

Platter -

Turkish Special Chicken Platter - The turkish special chicken platter has some good amount of chicken pieces in the form of doner kebab as base and is topped with some good amount veggies marinated in mayo and sauce like capsicum,cabbage,tomato,red onion and carrot.Which are again garnished with the mayo and sauce.They even have two falafels in the platter.

In the course of visiting and reviewing even smallest of restaurants, I understood that the quaint lanes of old city Indeed hide gems within them. Now I’m not referring to literal stones when I mention Gems, but the iconic restaurants and remote places serving the most heart-filling delicacies you’ll ever have. Turkish Central has always been a perfect place to grab a quick bite when you’re in and around Bazaar-Ghat, Mallepally. Referring to the name, their menu mainly focuses on turkish food like doner wraps, Isken Kebabs and platters. By the time of writing this review, I’ve visited this place multiple times now. Its a small corner shop located near Priya Theatre at Bazaar-ghat. A big part of the shop is taken by the mud-brick Charcoal Grill used to grill the chicken/meat where chef performs the magic. Noticing increase in the inflow of crowd, they have also set up seating outside whilst also having a few tables on the inside. Usually I order a BBQ wrap and TC Special Platter. Perfectly char-grilled chicken, with veggies and a generous amount of BBQ Sauce wrapped in a pita bread or Rumali as per your choice. The TC Special Platter has a layer of veggies, covered with Grilled Chicken chunks, Falafel and garnished with a drizzle of BBQ sauce. The quantity is enough good enough for one person if you consider them only for Snacking or a light meal. Apart from these wraps and platters, they also serve kebabs, Chicken Wings and Salads which have always held a positive review when I asked about them to fellow bloggers. Known to serve delicious food in generous portion sizes, they also offer a pocket-friendly menu. Good for a quick bite and finger foods, when I consider the taste, ambience, service and Quality of food, they easily deserve 5/5 rating. However, as a customer’s point of view, the seating and parking is limited and you’ll have to wait to be seated during peak/rush hours. To counter this, they also offer a home-delivery service or you could just get your order packed and enjoy your meal at the comfort of your home. Overall a good restaurant for quick bites. Here I am with an astounding menu from an remarkably bonzer restaurant called @turkish_central . About a few days back I was invited by a group of bloggers to explore this place but couldn't make it due to some reasons, and thought to explore this place by self. It's wide range of barbecue section which this place offers at an unbelievably, shockingly affordable price range went to MALLEPALLY to find out about their captivating FULL CHICKEN which had a resemblance of the faham dajjaj Wich I used to have back in KSA and this crave dragged me to this place to try out the dish along with other impeccably delicious Kebabs. While I was in the shop I have observed that the staff members were really well sanitized and took measures to ensure your safety and moving on I took a video of how the place is kept even in the absence of customers which was really CLEAN.

Now moving on to rate their barbecue menu 😁😁 I ordered: 1 Full chicken ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1 full Isken kebab ⭐⭐ 1 full Kaju kebab (personal fav)⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1 full Sufi kebab ⭐⭐⭐ 1 full Greek Souvlaki ⭐⭐⭐

Taste wise I won't suggest you this place if you have gotten used to the spicy kebabs that other people offer in the name of Arabic or Turkish delights because you can only fall in love with this place if you remember how the authentic taste was Medium spices, Smoky flavors really simple yet mouthwatering. Also they had a section for different breads which included the ultimate Pita bread.

The Full chicken was a dish I didn't expect to Experiance in India (almost the same taste as KSA).

Isken kebab is the chicken nuggets.

Kaju kebab was the big deal the marination was top notch and well prepared.

Sufi kebab was a bit common kebab.

Greek Souvlaki is something which puzzled me with it's marination was really different never tried something like this.

Pita bread was really soft and hot Even after I took it to the home after almost an hour.
