Read moreI rarely write bad reviews, but our experience here was disappointing enough to warrant one. We went for Sunday lunch expecting decent food and service, but it was a complete letdown.
The service was painfully slow — we had to repeatedly remind the staff just to get basic things like cutlery and glasses. Imagine asking for drinking glasses at a restaurant and being given just one for the whole table, only to remind them again to get more.
Coming to the food — the veg clear soup was honestly just warm water with a few boiled vegetables floating around and a slick of oil on top. Completely tasteless. The rest of the food wasn’t any better — underwhelming flavors and definitely not what you’d expect from a place claiming to be fine dining.
To top it off, there were flies around. Hygiene seemed questionable, staffing was inadequate, and overall, it felt like they just didn’t care. At the end of it all, when we asked for the bill, he handed us the bill copy and the machine and went missing once again, we tried calling a staff many times, eventually ended up figuring out how to use the machine and paid out own bill.
Honestly, I doubt even the owner chooses to eat here. Definitely not worth the time, money, or effort. Such places create their hype with ambience and new openings....and eventually sink the business by not taking care beyond the aesthetics into the real deal - food...
Read moreWe reached here at around 11:20 pm. The place was almost empty and IPL was on the projector. There were no physical menus and we're asked to scan the QR to check the menu. We're also told that the kitchen closes at 11:30 pm (though Google maps says it's 12 am), so we need to order fast and this will be the last order. We ordered 4 things, and the order arrived in ~15 min.
Penne Arrabiata was super saucy and creamy with a lot of tanginess and no red chilies. Mediterranean garlic bread was looking so good, but the dough of the bread did not seem to have any flavors. All the garlic, herbs and cheese was on top only. Classic paneer club had strangely irregular spread of filling among the individual pieces. One of the sandwiches had no paneer, the other no cucumber, and likewise. Sandwiches had no mayonnaise in them either. We ordered Brownie beauty for the dessert (with the initial order) which arrived after 15 min after we had finished the food. It had 3 scoops of super sweet chocolate ice-cream with a lot of brownie crumbs around it.
The indoor seating arrangement is 3 feet below the walking area to provide under the table privacy. There is no handwash area except within the lavatories. The lavatories are dingy but okay. The cost is on the medium side. The overall experience is also okayish. Won't go here again, but suggest you to try once yourself if you happen...
