🚫 WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT HYDELI PIZZA – BEWARE BEFORE YOU GO!
I usually don’t write negative reviews, but what happened yesterday at Hydeli Pizza, Indore, was beyond unacceptable — it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences of my life. I felt compelled to share this so others don’t waste their hard-earned money and time like we did.
After one of my colleagues recommended Hydeli Pizza's buffet, we decided to give it a try. We’re food lovers who love exploring new places in Indore — but what followed was nothing short of a nightmare.
❌ ZERO SERVICE – WE SERVED OURSELVES From the moment we walked in, there was no basic service at all. No one guided us, welcomed us, or even acknowledged our presence properly. We had to start picking up dishes on our own, unsure of what’s included or not. It felt like we were completely invisible to the staff.
⚠️ RAISED A COMPLAINT – BUT MANAGER DISAPPEARED After getting frustrated, we politely complained to the manager, who came and promised that someone would serve us soon. We waited for a few minutes, expecting things to improve… but guess what? Everyone vanished again. We were left standing and serving ourselves again like it was some self-service mess — except this is a restaurant, and we PAID for service!
🍦 ICE CREAM HUMILIATION The insult didn’t end there. When we went for the ice cream at the end, the person at the counter rudely asked for a hand band (which should’ve been tied when we paid earlier). We explained that the manager forgot to tie it. Instead of understanding, they treated us like we were trying to sneak in or cheat — it was extremely humiliating.
🤯 MANAGER LAUGHING AT OUR COMPLAINTS We tried escalating the issue to the senior manager, hoping someone would take accountability. To our shock, instead of showing concern, he laughed it off with the staff. Yes — laughed at our complaints, while we stood there disrespected and unheard. What kind of management is this?
🍕 FOOD? ABSOLUTELY AVERAGE You’d expect at least the food to make up for the bad service, but no — the food was bland, cold, and tasteless. Nothing special, and certainly not worth the money. I’ve had better food at street stalls.
⭐ My Ratings: Service: 0/5
Food Quality: 1/5
Overall Experience: -0 if I could give it
Value for Money: 0/5
FINAL VERDICT: STAY AWAY FROM HYDELI PIZZA! This place is a joke. No service, no courtesy, no taste — only disappointment and humiliation. I will NEVER visit again, and I strongly recommend others to avoid this place...
Read moreAfter much wait went to this outlet hyped up with all the coverage it had already. The restaurant served us well and we too were in a fix as to what should we eat and what not.
They charge you 360₹ pax and their huge seat layout can easily accommodate around 100 people. We were greeted with the aroma of good food and the manager introduced us briefly to the entire menu, gave instructions to the server for prepping and serving us anything that comes out of their kitchen hot.
Rating for food-4.7/5
We tasted starters which were amazing, especially the crispy corn, paneer tikka and hara bhara kebab. boiled vegetables were surprisingly tasty.
The fries, garlic pops and cheese pops were nice, sandwich looked appetizing but I haven't tasted them.
The main course was delicious, chinese rice and noodles was good, hot pasta was ok ok. Their pizza and garlic bread are a must try, really cooked well and base was fresh and soft. Toppings and sauce were sufficient, overall it tasted superb.
Sweet section is definitely not to be missed if you're a sweet tooth. Do try the Jalebi, beetroot halwa they are just awesome. Rest their shahi tukda,Gulab jamun, pineapple halwa and pastries are also good.
Chaat items were tasty, pani of puris could be made more flavourful. Soups was a mis and hit, these both can be improved a lot. The cold salad menu was not good (judging on taste of similar items in other restaurants), it needs a major overhaul.
Parking is not an issue for 2 wheelers but 4 wheeler need to struggle due to shared space with other business.
Entrance needs a good 20-30 stairs climb, which is not tough as such but surely for the...
Read moreI would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a satisfying vegetarian buffet experience. For under ₹400, you get an impressive spread of 131 items, which is truly value for money. They have a wide range of varieties covering starters, salads, snacks, main course, and desserts. What really stands out here is that each item has its own distinct flavor — nothing feels repetitive or bland. You can actually feel and enjoy the taste in every bite, which is rare to find in such large buffets.
The starters are well-prepared and fresh, offering a balanced mix of spicy, tangy, and mild flavors to suit different taste buds. Moving to the main course, I must say it is surprisingly good. Usually, in buffet settings, people tend to fill up on starters and forget about the main course, but here I would strongly recommend you try it. The curries, dals, and rice preparations are flavorful, and the breads are served fresh and warm, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Desserts are also worth mentioning, with multiple sweet options that give a perfect ending to the meal. However, if there’s one thing you could skip without regret, it’s their pizza. Unfortunately, it is not up to the mark and lacks the quality and flavor of the other dishes.
The service is polite, and the ambiance is clean and comfortable, making it ideal for family gatherings, office lunches, or casual get-togethers with friends. Overall, for the price, the variety, and the quality you get, this buffet is absolutely worth trying at least once. Just make sure you save some appetite for the main course — it will...
