Dear Mr. Rajesh,
Firstly, I pointed out towards your manager’s behaviour and that too over their lack of knowledge and understanding. I didn’t blame anyone else. And you replying confidently without being present there and that too stating incorrect facts in a public comment is a bigger mistake. So please stop fooling public, they are smart enough to understand your tactics.
I would like to clarify that it was just the two of us at the table, not more people. We occupied a single table, and I did not reserve multiple tables in the name of a single booking, so we ideally didn’t exhaust any of your extra booking slots. Secondly, this issue is not about the discount. We pay for Zomato Gold to avail the discounts it offers, and to correct your facts, it was a flat 20% discount (Attached a ss for your reference). Whether it’s one or two people, the discount is always a flat amount calculated automatically on the total bill based on the items ordered during the visit. This calculation doesn’t change based on the number of people but on the total food ordered on our table, which we paid for in full. Kindly check it with Zomato if I stated anything wrong, because I have already confirmed everything before posting my review.
The argument from your staff started after we had already made the complete payment, not before. You did not lose any money regardless of whether it was one or two people, as we paid the full bill. Zomato does not impose such restrictions, and it’s irrelevant whether it was one person or two at the table. A flat discount means a flat discount, which we paid, and you did not receive a penny less.
Moreover, if offering discounts through Zomato Gold to your customers is an issue for your restaurant, perhaps it would be better to reconsider being part of the program. Offering a discount and then complaining about customers availing it is not the right approach. Instead of addressing the behavior of your staff, it’s disappointing that you’ve chosen to criticize customers for using a service you willingly provide through a platform that you recently criticised.
My Initial Review - I recently visited Café Terazza and, unfortunately, had a really bad experience due to the rude behavior of their manager (Nitish). The other staff members were still polite and understanding. From the moment I interacted with him, his tone was dismissive and unprofessional, making the entire visit uncomfortable. The manager lagged basic manners and when I raised a simple concern and tried explaining him about it, the manager seemed uninterested in addressing it and responded with unnecessary hostility. Even after being proven wrong, he made no effort to apologise and continued to respond with a furious and defensive attitude. Customer service is an essential part of any dining experience, and I was disappointed by the lack of courtesy and respect shown...
Read moreAMBIANCE: This place is located behind Pakizza AB Road Indore in Airen Heights at 10th Floor. The place is really beautiful, the decor, ambience and enough spacious and photogenic. The best time to visit is during evening/twilight period. They also organize live music most of the time. The is enough seating available but yet with all the extra space it can be increased. The ambiance is as good as its competitors but yet less crowd comes here.
FOOD: The quantity of food was a disappointment. We order Chillie panner pizza: It was thin crust very small in size and not enough for 4 people. Like as per the rate (₹325/-) it should have been bigger in size. The taste was not so delicious either.
Smoky noodles: This was fine but again less in quantity and not so delicious as per their best seller.
Paneer Panjabi: The quantity was enough and taste was at par. I have had better planner panjabi in main course before.
Tandoori Roti: It was hard and not soft.
Nann Roti: It was good and soft.
SERVICE: The service is really slow. Not so welcoming and friendly staff. The helpers are not attentive. Even after reservation of table we had to wait for 1/2 hr. There is only one person who takes order so it takes a lot of time to give order for food.
VALUE FOR MONEY: The cost of a few items is high as per the quantity served. Paying through Dine out app gives discount on bill. Apart from ambiance a lot of improvement is required in a number of sections as this could be the reason of less crowd in comparison to its...
