Kabelo Veg Barbecues — Restaurant in Indore City

Let me explain in detail.It would be helpful for others. I am not from indore but I have done my engineering from Indore and hometown is 100 km from indore. I work in Karnataka and whenever I go to hometown I come to indore because I love indori food .I was going to my Hometown for Diwali and spend some days in Indore. My cousin asked me to try Buffet at Kabelo as it is pure veg restaurant. I tried and got disappointed with taste of food .If you tried food on barbecues,it is on the same theme i.e. the concept of live grills allowing customers to grill their own barbecue’s right at their tables.

They serve starters on the Seat and main course we need to take it plus live counters are available.

Here review of food All paneer items was not good at all from Starters to main course to live counters.

Starters- paneer,pineapple,soya, roasted corn,potato items,dahi kabab

Out of above Roasted corn,potato items ,dahi kabab was good.

Main course - Paneers items,rice items,pasta, veg noodles,dal baati ,idli sambhar,roti,Naan.

Nothing was good except dal rice but I don't go to eat dal rice in restaurants. Could not chew Naan as it feels like eating elastic.

Coming to live counter - Paneer chilli,honey potato and pani puri .

Honey potato was good,pani puri was average and chilli panee was like chwengum.

Sweets - Not sweet lover but my wife was . Sweets were average including Ice cream.

Rasmalai(something like that),phirni was good .

Finally they charged me around 800 per person. Not at all worth .

Overall it's not worth to visit here for tasty food here.. may be for Ambience. It's roof top so you will like the open seating and click some pictures.

Staff is humble and polite ,so for service I can give 4 star.

KABELO : ROOFTOP : VEG BARBECUE !

There is hardly any all veg barbecue restaurants that serve in the buffet manner ! Well this is it ! Heaven for all our pure Vegetarian friends and family members !!

This is newest addition to the rooftop club in the vicinity ! Cafe Terreza / Flames by Fire and Smoke and now this.

Lets talk about why you should prefer going here :

It’s purely vegetarian !

Buffet prices are very nominal ! INR 700 per person.

There are complimentary drinks as well for the guest , we chose to have coca cola ! And , आज के समय कौनसा कैफ़े ! कोका-कोला पिलाता है !! देव मानुस निकला रे ये तो !!

Plenty of dishes are there , you have your regular grill at the table setup

All tables are almost 6 ft apart which is pretty nice for social distancing !

Staff here is very very polite and knowledgeable ! You can have conversations with them in Hindi or English !

Service is fast ! And the views ! There is no such rooftop in the vicinity that has such massive area and panoramic view of the city ! It’s just the best without a doubt !

Pool side tables may or may-not experience the loud factory noise situated nearby.

Parking is plenty and easy available.

When you take the elevator press T or else you have to land on floor 6th and go to restaurant by stairs !

Overall it was a nice experience to eat here and we literally enjoyed our dining here !

Taste was above average, just the paneer was not upto the mark in chilly paneer .

If You have to compete with the shreemaya and flames: fire and smoke , you have to level up your paneer game because the paneer there is amazing !
