I was famished and an acquaintance of mine asked me that what I wish to eat. A proper filling meal would serve the purpose- I suggested and he took me to Karnavat Bhojan Prasadi. It was a commodious food outlet with restaurant in the middle, paan bhandar and juice corner on either sides. On the ground floor of the restaurant, they serve a variety of snacks including pao bhaji, chhole bathure and others and on the first floor, they have a thaali system.
We took a token for two and went on the first floor. On producing the token we got two multi-sections plate and the food was served as in a buffet system. We took rice, lentils, buttermilk, potato and peas vegetable, halwa and rotis with ghee spread on it. The ground floor may accommodate not more than 10-12 people and the first floor may accommodate around 80 people at one go. One may take as many servings and helps as one desires. As far as rotis and water were concerned, a boy was roaming around asking every guest on every table if they require more rotis.
The cleanliness level and the taste of food were highly satisfactory. They were signages mentioning that if any leaves food on the plate, they will be penalized with INR 50. There were washbasins and a sliding inlet where one has to place the used plate after meal for washing and the spoons to be kept in the bucket kept near the inlet. It seemed highly organized and the experience was nice as far as budget meal with great taste was concerned. We paid only INR 60 for each thaali and had a hearty meal. One may pay via online...
Read moreHello guys,
The places bhojnalaya so i will judge the place based on that.
Visited the place so many times, didn't know that it was on zomato, I have tried there alu ka paratha, thali, pizza.. sandwich, chinese like noodles and manchurian,
I liked everything specially there thali. There are a lot of things in the thali, like two vegetables, dal kadi, sweets, salad, roti good for daily purpose, the only thing sometimes i have to face there is the roti are machine made so can't eat them when they are cold.
There are two thali system if you go for kind of buffet version then the rotis are ok if you go for royal thali or special thali then it is really really good.
There rates are good... The place is pocket friendly and the things that u get in that price is worth, so no...
Read moreDo not get fooled by the Price. Although you get an Indian Thali for 50/- INR that too Unlimited but the food quality is cheap as expected. You have to take a token from the Counter and go upstairs (The Ground Floor is for Fast Food like Chinese, Pani Puri, etc.). Believe me when you go upstairs the Floor Shakes and Sounds really bad. It feels like the whole floor will come down the next moment. Give you token, get a Thali and start pouring the meal yourself (Self Service). You get 2 Pulses, 1 Vegetable, Flat Breads or Chapatis, Salads (Factually Only Onions and Cucumbers) and Rayta which tastes pathetic. 🔴Summing the points it is Reasonable, Eatable and the...
