I used to love Clock Tower restaurant when I was in college. It was one of my favorite places to eat and hang out with friends. So, I decided to order from them after 16 years, hoping to relive some good memories, while I was telling my wife about the college days and Jabalpur food. But what I got was a terrible experience that ruined my appetite and my mood.

The egg fried rice that I ordered was smelling of sewer. It was so awful that I could not even take a second bite. The food was clearly stale and unfit for human consumption. It tasted sour and rotten, as if it had been left outside for a day or two and then sent as a parcel. They had no regards for safety or hygiene. They should be ashamed of themselves for serving such revolting food to their customers.

The food made me feel sick and nauseous. I had a terrible stomach ache and a headache. I almost threw up the moment I ate the first bite. I had to throw away the rest of the food and drink lots of water to wash away the taste. I felt cheated and angry. I regret ordering from Clock Tower restaurant. It was a waste of money and time. I will never order from them again. They have lost a loyal customer and gained a bad reputation. I advise everyone to avoid this place at all costs. It is not worth it.

The only good thing that happened was that Zomato refunded the amount for the nasty dish. But I don’t understand how the restaurant is able to pull such a stunt and get away with it.

Not a good experience, had ordered food without onion garlic and we were served with it, also everything was old and frozen... We had parceled most of the food and added a few more items. When reached home one of the items were missing... When we called the restaurant regarding the same, the person kept the phone down and ignored our requests for refund. We had ordered over 10 items and none of them were fresh...

Update - please go through my profile before mentioning that I mislead people. You need to be professional and make sure you get your staff trained... Your staff misleads people not me. I asked them multiple times to give food without onion garlic but still they gave with it... After serving also they said its not there.. When we showed it, he said it'll be there.. And also if your items were fresh, you cannot serve everything in less than 5 minutes. Your staff should've also informed that they didn't give one of the parcel when they were giving us bill.. Your restaurant was a disappointment for us and we will never turn...
