This art décor boutique cafe features a pleasant ambiance, excellent artwork, and attractive art decor style. On our second visit to the cafe, we tried a local dish called dry junglee murgh, this traditional dish is also named junglee maans, which is named after the most basic and ubiquitous ingredients that one can gather. The recipe was generally used in olden times when game meat was famous, as the name describes "junglee maans" junglee (forest) maans (meat), it could be made in the forest using very ubiquitous and basic ingredients that can be carried easily, the recipe is traditionally cooked using clarified butter, garlic, dry whole mathania red chilies, salt, and very little water, it was enjoyed with roti (Indian flatbread), the meat was slow cooked to dissolve all the flavour of chilies and meat in clarified butter to make a rich, smoky, and flavorful dish. At the cafe we ordered this dish named as "dry junglee murg" they used their traditional family recipe of "junglee mass" from the house of bhinder and transformed the recipe very skillfully to a dry texture so that it can be enjoyed as a snack, the chicken was cooked using local spices and clarified butter, which had a wonderful smoky flavour, the recipie was mildly spiced for us, but one can request for a spicier one to the steward before the order, It was served on a roti (Indian flatbread). The chikoo shake we tried for a snack was well-blended from fresh natural chikoo fruit (Sapodilla) and milk, which made our lunch delicious. The steward was courteous and knowledgeable, making everything clear about the menu. This is one of the best restaurant for enjoying both typical local food and...
Read moreThis home cafe has been my go to place for quite a while now. The moment you step in it's the most inviting and cozy vibe, and don't be surprised to be welcomed by their inhouse sniffer Mr. Muffins, their pet pug. The most homely hoo-man in the house! The food served there is a symphony of flavours dancing perfectly together. Their jalapeno poppers are my personal favourite and go to snack to start off every time I visit them. In a world where cafes can often feel impersonal and rushed, this home cafe stands as a beacon of warmth, authenticity, and culinary artistry. The personal touch created and provided by their owners Parthvi, Divyabhan and Priyamvada sets it apart and makes your entire experience filled with warmth and delight. Their passion for what they do is palpable, and it gets translated into every aspect of my visits. I recently had the opportunity to facilitate their guests with a Therapeutic Art workshop and the ambience was perfectly soothing for the meditation. The staff's support and commitment to ensuring a seamless workshop experience are truly commendable and the fact that both the kids and the guests enjoyed their time so much speaks volumes about the welcoming and nurturing environment this cafe provides. Overall I personally recommend this space for a warm and welcoming vibe for...
Read moreThis young family run business is an absolute gem of a spot in Jaipur if you are a foodie like me and has a thing for aesthetic and tastefully done cafes. It was by far the best meal I had during my stay in Jaipur, especially after I was disappointed with the local food in some other places. The family pays extra attention to ensuring that the Rajasthani cousine they serve is absolutely the best and even uses some of their family recipes. Absolutely would recommend the junglee chicken, Kheema Baati and galouti kebabs and nothing like their watermelon Daquiry after a hot day of shopping in Jaipur. The cafe is very tastefully done up and the interesting part is that eveyrthing you see there is also for sale, so if you happen to like the chair you're sitting on, you can even buy that. Very interesting and unique concept. Very few places manage to ace both ambience and...
