Filler Bay - Café and Eggless Cakes — Restaurant in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

Two years ago, I gave them a glowing 5-star review and was a regular customer because of the quality of their cakes. However, my recent experience has completely changed my opinion.

I had ordered a Barbie cake with specific color requirements for my daughter’s birthday. While I was informed that the color might come off on hands—which was acceptable—the cake itself turned out to be extremely bitter. Not a single child ate it, and several guests even asked where it was from—leaving us utterly embarrassed. The entire celebration mood was dampened.

When we reached out to Tanvi, the owner, she flatly denied saying she mentioned about the cake being bitter (which is absurd—why would any parent knowingly order a bitter cake for a kid’s birthday?). We even visited their outlet hoping for a resolution, but instead of acknowledging the issue or offering even a partial refund as goodwill, we were bluntly told nothing could be done.

Being in the food industry, customer satisfaction should be a priority. Dismissing a regular customer’s genuine concern and showing no accountability for poorly made food is unacceptable. We ended up throwing away the entire ₹2300 cake—more than the money, it ruined my daughter’s special day.

As a business owner myself, I know how crucial it is to handle customer complaints with empathy—even if it means taking a loss. That’s what builds trust and long-term relationships. Sadly, this place has lost mine, and I wouldn’t recommend it to...

Ordered a customized number cake for my dad's birthday from here. The bakery chef understood all the requirements and managed to live upto that. The cake was made and delivered super quick, the taste was awesome and it was so fresh. He used his own creativity for better, the outcome was amazing.
