Visited on 28 Jun 2025 Overall Rating: 3 out of 5 stars Gulabgarh offers an experience that falls short in several key areas, particularly for adult visitors, and raises serious concerns regarding animal welfare. While it might appeal to families with younger children, a number of issues prevent it from being a truly enjoyable destination. Dining Experience (Food: 3/5, Ambiance: 1/5): The food itself was average, earning a modest 3 out of 5 stars. However, the dining environment significantly detracted from the meal. The eating area was uncomfortably humid and suffocating, primarily due to the reliance on coolers rather than proper air conditioning. This made a peaceful dinner impossible. Service in the dining area was also problematic. Cutlery was pre-placed and appeared to have been sitting for some time, even having small bits of food on it â a significant hygiene concern. Furthermore, food distribution was not well-managed; staff seemed to serve according to their own system, and waiting for specific items was common. Packages and Value: Upon arrival, Gulabgarh offers two main packages: a âš700 "limited" option and an âš800 "unlimited" option. The specifics of the âš700 package were unclear. While I opted for the âš800 unlimited pass, the variety of starters was limited. A major drawback is that if you proceed to dinner, the VIP hand band is cut, preventing you from returning to enjoy more starters. Given this, a regular pass might offer better value than the VIP option. Atmosphere and Suitability: The overall atmosphere leans heavily towards entertainment for children (ages 7-9). While adults accompany children, the venue doesn't offer much in terms of entertainment or comfort for a purely adult crowd. It's not a place I'd recommend for adults looking to enjoy a day out without a substantial group of kids. Major Concern: Animal Welfare (0/5): One of the most distressing aspects of Gulabgarh is the poor treatment and neglect of the animals used for rides (camels, horses, bulls, buggies). The management of these animal rides is deeply concerning. There were long queues for rides, indicating high demand, yet the animals appeared severely malnourished and overworked. During my visit, I observed camels shivering while walking, prompting me to abandon my plan for a camel ride. Further observation revealed that all the animals were visibly skinny, with their bones protruding â a clear sign of improper feeding and care. This constitutes animal harassment and cruelty. I strongly advise against riding any of these animals or supporting this aspect of Gulabgarh's offerings. It's evident they are being exploited for work without being properly fed or cared for. Management and Crowding: Overall, the management at Gulabgarh appears to be poor. The venue is frequently overcrowded, leading to long queues for almost every activity. This significantly impacts the visitor experience, requiring considerable patience. In conclusion, while Gulabgarh might provide some enjoyment for young children, the significant issues with dining comfort, service, overall management, and especially the alarming neglect of animals, make it difficult to recommend wholeheartedly. Improvements are drastically needed in these areas to enhance the visitor experience and ensure ethical treatment of all living beings on...
Read moreWorst Birthday Party Organisation for my daughterâs birthday. Even the manager Mr. Dara Singh said I will take care of everything however he is the worst person I have ever seen in my life!! I have paid whole amount in advance and soup was missing from the dinner. Dara Singh doesnât know anything as he was showing too much attitude with no apologies from the staff. We have given the time at 6pm to complete everything because the party had to start from 7pm however before 6:30 they couldnât finish their work. The Gulabgarh Manager and housekeeping team were absolutely useless, they were more concerned about making money. Few members of our family missed out on the meal due to the length of time and wrapping up the everything and Dara Singh was not able to give food to them. My husband and my brother were the only customers in the party hall other than staff and all the food counters were cleared. Even the manager, Dara Singh came up to my husband afterwards to check the party hall and how the party had gone and said that he would be keeping the food for my husband but he didnât kept food for my husband. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Worst customer service ever and ruined my daughterâs birthday party. You need more parking spots, there is not enough parking for private party because they donât reserve the space for private party guestâs . There carpark was already full before our guest arrived. They should give the priority and reserve the space. What I got the answer from the manager that I'm sorry Ma'am, but our parking is on a first come, first served basis. We do not reserve spaces. If the car park is full, u pls park ur cars on street parking. This was pathetic. Dara Singh is so clever and try to be smart, just a advice whenever u guys wants to host a party in Gulabgarh pls clear each & everything with him and about rates nothing is fix as he gives different rates to everyone. This is happened with us. Another person from my husbandâs office booked the venue and he has got the less rates which he has offered to us. This is horrible. Pls never ever deal with Dara Singh as he doesnât know the...
Read moreI would like to share the disappointing experience we had during my fatherâs birthday celebration at your venue. We had booked the property for 50 guests, but several incidents left us deeply dissatisfied: Parking Issue: Despite having a booking, we were not allowed to park our cars inside the property. This was highly inconvenient for us and our guests. DJ Operator Missing: During the cake-cutting ceremony, the DJ operator was absent for 30 minutes, which disrupted the celebration and wasted our valuable time. Unhelpful Reception Staff: When we approached the receptionist to contact the DJ operator and asked for immediate assistance, the response was dismissive. The receptionist stated, âWe donât know if itâs part of your package,â despite the fact that the DJ operator was present earlier during mic testing and had provided two microphones for the event. This unprofessional behavior made us feel neglected, especially since we had paid the full amount in advance. Rude Service During Dining: When we requested chapatis to be served during dinner (as we had already been waiting for 20 minutes after the curries were served), one of the staff members rudely replied, âIt takes time to cook rotis even at your home. Should I serve you half-cooked ones? Will you eat them?â Such an attitude is unacceptable and highly disrespectful. Handling of Cake: After being informed that we were not allowed to serve the cake inside the dining area, we agreed to serve it outside. However, a staff member later informed us that the leftover cake would be served to the venue staff in the dining area. This lack of professionalism and cooperation was disappointing.
In conclusion, despite paying the total amount in advance, we felt that the service was poorly managed, and the staff was uncooperative and unprofessional. These incidents not only spoiled our celebration but also left us with a negative impression of your...
