Restro NH 11 — Restaurant in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

This always looked liked a decent and warm joint whenever I used to cross it. Somehow. it took some time for us to actually go and give it a try since it's a vegetarian joint.

Not sure what a 'Restro' really is - I know what a Restaurant is and what a Bistro is - I also know a Cafe - but Restro ?? Not sure.

But this place is both a Cafe and and a Restaurant.

They have a good range of Coffees and other beverages that you would find at a good cafe along with quick bites. The coffees and other beverages are really good - probably by far the best in this area. On top of it, the pricing too is very reasonable - whereas would you a find a decently made Cappuccino at Rs. 89 ?

They have a main course menu which has traditional North Indian, Chinese and South Indian. We tried North Indian and it was good. We tried several things but for me the best judgement of North Indian comes from how the chef makes a basic yellow Dal Fry and Indian breads (Lachcha Parantha, Tandoori Roti and Naan). These things were really good and the pricing too was reasonable.

The ambience at the place is really well done up for a cafe, not really for a restaurant. However it's up to a visitor's taste and liking. For example my kids really liked the ambience and it was quite funky - whereas my Mom did not like it saying everything looks very old and dated :-).

Things that need improvement: The staff is quite warm and enthusiastic - but need more training on the actual hard and soft skills. Since it is both a Cafe and a restaurant - they have to be very careful about what kind of guests are present and what kind of 'mahaul' is needed. For example if only 2-3 tables are occupied with family crowd on a Sunday lunch - they would not appreciate loud Punjabi music and the staff themselves making a lot of noise. That may be okay for a Saturday night crowd who are there to have fun. The sides with North Indian starters and main course need a lot of improvement.

Overall - it's a pretty decent joint both for a Coffee or for a meal if you are in this area. In fact it is by far the best...

Excellent and affordable restaurant and cafe for solos, couples, friends, families and children. The food is really delicious, well cooked and properly baked. It has everything on its menu, right from starters and fast food in snacks to breads and vegetables in the main course with beverages and desserts.

Chinese Sizzler and Farmers Pizza are just mouthwatering with proper balance of all the ingredients in them. Saunf and Wet Wipes are provided after the meals. The menu includes Beverages (Hot & Cold), Mocktails, Shakes, Continental, Chinese, Sizzlers, Soups, Starters, Salad, Papad, Main Course, Breads, Cakes, Rice, Raita and Desserts.

The restaurant is on two floors including ground and first floor. The main restaurant is on the first floor whereas the office is located on the ground floor. A well furnished and decorated staircase is provided for the movement between the floors. The entrance and the exit are the same and are attractive with greenery. The indoors including the roof are beautifully decorated with lights and indoor plants. Comfortable seats and live music or DJ increases the delightful experience. A water can is placed on one side for washing hands and drinking water.

The indoors are well designed, well maintained and clean with wonderful infrastructure, well furnished furniture and beautiful crockery. The staff is well trained, polite and helpful. The atmosphere is really relaxing and calm with good service and excellent views. Parking and washrooms are also available. The timings are 1 pm-10 pm.

Overall, a wonderful experience and would love to come back again. Chinese Sizzler and Farmers Pizza are highly recommended. It is a cosy place with delicious foods and spend a good...

Yesterday itself we have visited this place ...we organized a bday party for 40 people ... At the time of booking they ensured us that everything will be taken care of .. But when we visited there firstly at the entrance the person is asking for every individual even for the a small kid and counting that person . Second the starter we ordered was 1.hara bhara kaba - these were of not so soft consistency taste was average Pasta : it was pathetic ... Pasta is always a comfort food but It was so spicy and tangy thats literally not a combination you guys can serve Welcome drink virgin mojito was good and freshly served For the main course we ordered Paneer lababdar 4/5 Lucknavi kofta 3.5/5 Vegetable raita2/5 with minimal vegetable Dal fry 3/5 Fruit custard : most pathetic desert I can ever have , it tasted like some protein powder mixed with milk with no sugar and stale fruits Assorted breads : 4/5 Accompanied with salad and roasted papad

There was no staff members around to provide good hospitality to the guests .No person to serve the food... Cooler was there but working without water that is of no use..

Staff argued when we complained about the stale desert , coolers and no member to serve food ...

Overall experience was not good .. I will not recommend unless untill i...
