tl;dr: tourist trap restaurant to avoid
So I was looking for another restaurant (which no longer exists) when I found this place, which looked lovely... Sadly it's look is the best thing about it! The wait staff were attentive and polite and I ordered naan, rice, mutton curry, and veg pakora - washed down with a mango lassi - which arrived after about 10 minutes. The pakora was a mixed pakora (with paneer) which wasn't what I ordered, and the aloo pakora was under cooked and hard. The staff apologised and said they'd bring another, but it didn't arrive until I'd finished the rest of the meal. The main meal itself was good, nothing special, but tasty and well made. The problem? Read moreI recently dined at Jaipur Courtyard Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance immediately stood out a perfect blend of traditional Rajasthani charm with modern comfort. The décor was elegant, with tasteful lighting and intricate detailing that created a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The menu offered a rich variety of North Indian and Rajasthani dishes, and everything we tried was full of flavor. The laal maas was a highlight tender, spicy, and cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the dal baati churma, which had an authentic, home-style taste. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was beautiful.
Service was attentive and courteous. The staff made great recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed without being intrusive.
Prices were reasonable given the quality and portion sizes. It’s a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions.
Overall, Jaipur Courtyard is a must-visit if you're looking for delicious Rajasthani cuisine in a refined setting. Highly recommended Would you like a shorter version or something more casual/formal?
