Sree Aanandam Restaurant in Jaipur is a culinary delight for food enthusiasts. I recently dined at this establishment and was thoroughly impressed with their offerings. One dish that particularly stood out was the Laal Maas with chawal and roti. The tender, succulent pieces of mutton cooked in a rich, fiery red gravy were a treat for the taste buds. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with the right amount of spice and tanginess. The accompanying chawal (rice) and roti (Indian bread) were cooked to perfection, making it a complete meal.
Another dish that left a lasting impression was the Palak Corn. The combination of spinach and sweet corn was a refreshing twist on the traditional palak paneer. The dish was creamy and packed with flavor, with the sweetness of the corn beautifully complementing the earthiness of the spinach. The dish was well-seasoned, and the textures of the corn and spinach were just right.
Apart from the delectable food, the ambiance of Sree Aanandam Restaurant was pleasant, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The service was prompt and courteous, adding to the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, Sree Aanandam Restaurant in Jaipur is a must-visit for food lovers. The Laal Maas with chawal and roti was outstanding, and the Palak Corn was equally delightful. The flavors, presentation, and service were commendable, making it a memorable dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Rajasthani cuisine with a...
Read moreI would highly recommend Anandam Restaurant to anyone visiting Jaipur, especially those seeking a remarkable non-thali experience with Lal Maas at its finest. Despite the slight delay in serving the thali, the flavors and quality of the dishes were outstanding. The Lal Maas was delicate and bursting with flavor, the dal fry aloo provided a comforting homely touch, and the inclusion of chicken curry was a pleasant surprise. With its delectable offerings, Anandam Restaurant earns a well-deserved rating of 5 out of 5.
I had the privilege of trying Lal Maas in other well known places too but came back here thrice during my 5 days trip in Jaipur.
While the taste and quality of the food at Anandam were outstanding, I must mention that their service could use some improvement. The only area that could be worked upon is the time taken to serve the thali. On all three visits, it took approximately 30 minutes to be served the thali, even though most of the dishes seemed to be well-prepared in advance. However, this minor inconvenience can be overlooked considering the exceptional flavors and overall dining...
Read moreThis place is a massive tourist trap. We were brought here by our tour guide despite us asking him to take us somewhere with authentic Jaipur cuisine. For reference I was born and raised in India and was bringing a friend from Canada.
Upon arriving into the restaurant, not a single local in sight, only tour groups. Pricing of items more expensive than our 5* hotel's restaurant.
Ordered the chicken tikka and paneer, asking the paneer to be made spicy. Chicken tikka was dry af, and paneer was sweet. Asked for a side of onion and was given a glass instead (????). Service was negligent and slow.
Upon payment, we were charged for a water we never received. When we complained about the paneer literally being sweet instead of salty, the server tried to blame my friend and "trying to accommodate for him" even though we had both asked for the dish to be made spicy. Instead of apologizing they sought to find a scape goat.
This is a horrible place in terms of service, quality, and professionalism. Would have preferred to skip lunch entirely than go...
