Sahu Chai Wala at Chora Rasta, Jaipur, has become quite a popular spot lately—mainly due to social media hype and the aesthetic city view it offers, especially during monsoon. The tea stall is actually run in shifts (morning and evening), and from what I’ve gathered, it seems to be managed by two brothers separately. Both setups have a similar vibe but slight variations in taste and service.
Coming to the chai—honestly, it’s quite average. The flavor doesn’t stand out, and for a place with this much buzz, expectations were naturally high. The pricing feels a bit too steep for the quality offered. It feels more about the vibe than the actual tea experience.
That said, the location has its charm. Set against the backdrop of the old city, sipping tea here while watching the city lights or during a light drizzle in monsoon definitely elevates the mood. It’s a nice place to hang out once or take friends who want a “Jaipur vibe” photo op.
Overall, go for the view and the experience—not for the chai itself. A decent spot to unwind, but not really a “chai lover’s” paradise. Jaipur has better options if taste is your...

The tea is simply superb I can it's the best tea in Jaipur. Their way to make tea is unique too they make tea on a coal stove which people saying koyle ki bhatti in Hindi.
Apart from their unique tea making style the another thing which makes this place so special is they use pure buffalo milk only and make tea without a drop of water mixing in it result you get a great tea every time you ordered. The pricing is also very reasonable it costs you 15/- rupees for a full glass and if you want tea in Kulhad then it will cost you 20 rupees. They also provide half cup tea which costs you 10 rupees so if you are in Jaipur go to this place sahu tea or restaurant Bapu Bazaar and enjoy the...
Read moreSahu Restaurant In this monsoom season, only 2 things come to my mind, Chai and Pakode and by Chai I can think of many places, but this ppace always blows my mind. Since I am the tea person, I will always judge the tea in which they serve it. I always prefer kulhad over cups as they give an amazing taste and smell of wet soil. In Sahu Chai wala, located at Chaura Rasta, I get the perfect experience of Chai. They serve it in Kulhad and also smells amazing. This place is not hard to find but the real problem is, since it is a small 'chai ki dukaan', one cannot easily locate it. The mandir is above this shop and also in the lane of Golcha Cinema, which is about 100m away. Sometimes chai is not upto expectations but this doesn't stops from coming. Ask them to serve hot and just made tea and not the old one. You will find this place really amazing. And you can have...
