Disappointing Experience at Sequoia Café, Raja Park I visited Sequoia Café, Raja Park, yesterday after checking on Google that they offered both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area looked appealing, so I decided to visit. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I informed the staff that we preferred to sit outdoors. They apologized, stating that outdoor seating was unavailable due to construction work, and asked us to opt for indoor seating instead. When I requested permission to at least take a few pictures in the outdoor area, they refused that as well. Disheartened, we decided to leave and explore another café. However, noticing our decision to leave, the staff reconsidered and allowed us to sit outdoors, mentioning that it might be too hot. We assured them it was not a concern and chose outdoor seating. While seated outdoors, we initially thought the area did not have air conditioning. However, we later realized an air conditioner was installed but deliberately left off, seemingly to ensure most customers stayed indoors, minimizing the need to operate both AC units and saving electricity. We stayed for about three hours, but despite the discomfort, the outdoor AC was never turned on. While I appreciate efforts to conserve electricity, it should not come at the cost of customer comfort and satisfaction. To add to the disappointment, it was clear there was no construction work happening, contrary to what we were told. Such behavior not only inconveniences customers but also reflects poorly on service quality and can significantly impact customer retention. No business can thrive long-term by prioritizing cost-saving over the customer experience. I sincerely hope the management reflects on this feedback and takes corrective measures. A simple rule in business is to treat customers how you would like to be treated in their place.

Why should you consider this place? For starters the ambience is so weirdly convenient. It's quiet and yet bustling in a manner where you won't have to suppress yourself to be by yourself. Secondly, as it says everywhere this is elite dining in the most ‘Jaipur Cafe’ style you can imagine. We had various sandwiches which were all great but the dimsums didn't make a cut though for all of us. Drinks (coolers mostly) were simple and great. We went with the easiest dessert ever, a blue berry cheesecake and it definitely made the cut for us, do give it a try for the texture. And lastly, my favourite part, the portion size. Every single dish on the menu is enough for a person with a moderate appetite. You can get a drink and a single dish and be done with a full meal which is not the case at a lot of other places. It just makes your food easy and doesn't make you overwhelmed with everything unique, different and new. Also opens up opportunities for revisits. Such a convenient place, I'm so glad I visited. :)

I recently visited this cafe and was quite impressed with the overall experience. The food was quite good, I have ordered the garlic dim sums, Margherita pizza, cheese pull garlic bread, strawberry tres leches, Manchow soup, iced latte, and cold coffee. Everything was above average, particularly the tres leches and Thai lemonade, which were exceptional. The pizza was good, although it didn't quite surpass Napoli's pizza. The cheese pull garlic bread was also delicious. Additionally, the service was commendable, with polite, friendly, and professional staff. Overall, it was a positive experience and a great spot for outings with friends and family. Review for the chef- While the tres leches is still good, But I noticed that the cream layer on the bread is now much thicker than it used to be. Previously, the thinner cream layer made it even more delicious. Also they have reduced its size a little bit. I hope they consider returning to their original recipe.

My recent visit (01-12-2024) to Sequoia Café was a delightful experience, filled with flavorful dishes and a cozy ambiance. The café exudes a warm and inviting vibe, with elegant interiors and comfortable seating. It's a perfect spot for a relaxed meal or a casual hangout. Sequoia Café impressed with its delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and excellent service. The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring a smooth dining experience. The food was served promptly and arrived hot, adding to the overall satisfaction. Food ordered by me: White Sauce Pasta: The pasta was creamy and well-cooked, with a perfect balance of flavors. The sauce had a rich, velvety texture, complemented by a generous sprinkle of herbs and cheese. It was indulgent without being overpowering. Spring Rolls: The spring rolls were crispy on the outside and filled with a savory vegetable mix. The filling was fresh and well-seasoned, paired beautifully with the tangy dipping sauce. They were a great appetizer to kickstart the meal. Manchurian: The Manchurian was a standout dish, with perfectly cooked vegetable balls coated in a flavorful, slightly spicy sauce. The balance of sweet, tangy, and umami flavors made it a delightful treat for the palate. Total billing cost: INR 1024...

Wonderful experience here 😊😊

If you're looking for a place to experience the best taste and delicious food, then this is a must-visit spot. However, don't expect traditional Indian dishes like roti sabji. Instead, come here for mouth-watering Italian food such as pasta, pizza, dim sum, and many more options to choose from.

Food Variety = Veg/ Non veg Food - 5/5 😋 Quantity of food = 5/5 Ambience - 4.5/5 Payment option = We use paytm deal coupon and get 10% off.

Must try Neapolitan base Pizza and desert. Variety of pastry and desert available

What we try there

  1. MARGHERITA PIZZA (For those who doesn't want onion and tomato as topping) Base option avaialabe = Neapolitan / Thin crust

Try NEAPOLITAN BASE, very soft, fresh and delicious.

  1. HOT AND SPICY ARRABBIATA ( Red sauce pasta with one piece of garlic bread) Very good in taste but little bit spicy but worth it

3)Mexican tomato soup Good in taste, instead of bread crumbs, they give something different ( I didn't remember that name 😂😂)

After all these they give us complementary desert of chocolate pastry which also...
