We recently had a disappointing experience at Tamasha (12/05/2024) due to the rude and arrogant behaviour of the reservations guy at the entrance (Mr. Abhishek Tiwari). From the moment we walked in, we were met with condescending remarks and dismissive gestures from the reservations guy, who seemed more interested in asserting his authority than providing good customer service.

Despite we had already made a reservation in advance, we were made to wait for an unreasonable amount of time before being seated, with no explanation or apology given. When we tried to inquire about the delay, the reservations guy responded with unnecessary hostility and impatience, making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable and given response (Call to the guy who made your reservation and we called the reservation guy he came at the entrance (Mr. Abhisek Bajpayee) and the entrance guy Mr. Tiwari shouted on him in front of us that why you have taken their reservation without my prior permission and made us waited again on entry when we asked them that if you don’t wanted to give us entry why you have given confirmation to come, later Mr. Abhishek Bajpayee allowed us entry thanks to him. He apologised for the rude behaviour of entry guy.

This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable in a hospitality setting, where customers should be treated with respect and courtesy. It's disappointing to see such unprofessionalism from a staff member who is meant to represent the restaurant.

Disappointing Experience at Tamasha

I visited Tamasha with my family last Friday, and unfortunately, our experience was marred by poor management and average food. Despite having a prior booking, we were not allocated a table. The restaurant allowed visitors to crowd the bar area, creating chaos and a "mela" on the floor. A simple solution would be to have someone attend to guests at the door to manage the flow.

The food was a mixed bag. The Nachos (4/5) and Chilly Paneer (4/5) were delicious, but the Pizza and Pasta were undercooked. The pasta sauce had a tangy, acidic taste, which was unappealing. To make matters worse, we had to repeatedly remind the manager and staff about our order, and they would often come back to confirm if we had even placed the order! It took 45 minutes for our Pizza and Pasta to arrive.

While the food had its moments, the service and management issues overshadowed our experience. Tamasha needs to work on streamlining their operations and improving their food consistency to live up to their potential.
