Dayal House (Gandhi nagar) — Restaurant in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu has various stores of Dayal house and they serve bakery items, namkeen, ready to east fast food items and ice cream.

Their ice cream is a must try and cakes are delicious too.

I recommend blue berry cake and even their pastries are good especially the butterscotch one.

But recently I have noticed that their quality has degraded a little from before.

It's my suggestion to improve your chocolate cake as it had some kind of odour in it.

It is somewhat difficult to find parking space outside the store.

Their brownie with icecream is my all time favourite.

The namkeen is so good, I would recommend people to try it.

And I recently found out that they have a website too if you want to order anywhere outside jammu.

Extremely Disappointed – Not Fresh at All

I recently ordered their fresh fruit ice cream expecting a refreshing treat, but what I received was far from it. The fruits used were not fresh by any standard — in fact, they were clearly overripe, bordering on rotten. It completely ruined the flavor and texture of the ice cream.

For something marketed as “fresh fruit,” this was not just misleading, it was downright unpleasant to eat. The quality was pathetic, and I genuinely regret ordering it.

If you’re someone who values hygiene, freshness, or basic quality standards, I would strongly not recommend this place. Save your money and...

Stuff is good but now as usual when u get fame u ll treat customers bad, so they also have started the same way... You remain standing there and ask about something which u want to buy, they will answer you back after 20 mins and thats too in a way like u r slave to them not customer, and will talk back in a kind of rude way like u owe something to them lol... Treat customers in a good way because only because of customers yoh guys reach this level and without customers anyone could fall down, treat in good way or else give priority to those who bought things in...
