I am extremely frustrated and disappointed after my experience at this restaurant and PG. I rarely write reviews, but after everything that happened, I feel compelled to warn others so they don’t have to go through the same ordeal. This place has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I want to share my experience so no one else wastes their time, energy, or money here.

Let’s start with the worst part of all – I actually found cockroaches in the food. Yes, you read that right. It was beyond disgusting and horrifying. On top of that, I’ve tagged a picture with this review where you can clearly see a fly in the food – just in case you think I’m exaggerating. This is a serious hygiene issue, and it’s absolutely unacceptable. When I confronted the staff, they offered a replacement, but what shocked me more was the behavior of the owners — instead of acknowledging the issue, they blamed everyone else. No responsibility, no genuine apology — just deflection and excuses.

The food was absolutely terrible. The rice was like plastic — hard, dry, and completely tasteless. Other items were just as bad and seemed spoiled, clearly made from the cheapest possible ingredients. This isn’t just about bad cooking — this is about serving food that’s unsafe for consumption.

But the worst part? The owners only care about money. They don’t care about food quality or customer experience. They’ll take your money with a smile and then completely ignore you when something goes wrong. I tried to express my concerns multiple times, and they had the same robotic responses — “we’re busy” or “not our fault.” Zero accountability.

I do want to say that the staff was polite and seemed to genuinely care, but unfortunately, their efforts are ruined by the toxic attitude of the owners. They’re disrespectful, arrogant, and unwilling to accept any feedback. I’ve never felt so disrespected and helpless as a customer.

I’m writing this review not out of anger, but out of pure frustration . I tried reasoning with the owner, hoping they would see sense, but they wouldn’t even acknowledge the issue. Dealing with such irresponsible and rude people is mentally exhausting.

And yes, I’ve given this review 5 stars only so it gets noticed — not because they deserve even one. If you’re a student coming to Jammu, please take my advice: DO NOT choose this PG. It’s not worth your time, money, or peace of mind. There are far better, safer, and cleaner options available. Avoid this place...

I recently had the misfortune of dining at this restaurant and I must say it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a level of rudeness and unprofessionalism from the owner that was truly shocking. If there were an option to give negative stars, I would do so without hesitation.

Let’s start with the food. It was absolutely terrible. The dishes were poorly prepared, lacked flavor, and were served cold. It was evident that no care or effort was put into the preparation of the meals. The ingredients didn’t seem fresh, and the presentation was unappetizing. I had high hopes for a pleasant meal, but what I received was far from it.

However, what made the experience even worse was the owner’s behavior. The owner was incredibly rude and dismissive towards customers. When I politely mentioned that my food was cold, I was met with a hostile response and no attempt to rectify the situation. It was clear that the owner had no interest in providing good customer service or ensuring that patrons had a positive experience.

The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was also lacking. The ambiance was dull, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. It felt like the place was neglected, much like the attitude of the owner towards the customers.

The combination of terrible food and the owner’s rude behavior makes for an experience that is not worth your time or money. There are plenty of other restaurants where you can enjoy a good meal and be treated with respect. Save yourself the disappointment and avoid this place at all costs.

Also In front of me one customer was there unfortunately he got an urgent call from his office due to which he left the restaurant without placing any order the owner passes comment "Agar Order Nahi karna tha to aaye kyu". It truly shows the gesture of owner for customers.

Grill n chill restaurant is best for celebration of any birthday party or any other party .It is situated back side of women college parade Jammu opposite to back gate. The food here is cooked with so much perfection.I love to go there again and again . Literally it is one of the best for having fun with friends celebrating birthdays and parties.They provide both vegetarian and non vegetarian food . Space for sitting arrangements is quite large and number of tabels available for sitting . They provide beverages and food like momos, malai momos , mushroom momos , champ , tandoori champ ,malai champ, chowmeins , amritsari kulchas and lot of other vegetarian stuff. In drinks they have oreo shake banana shake and other lot of drinks available. In non vegetarian they also have lot of stuff like butter chicken chilly chicken non veg malai momos garlic chicken n lot of other non veg stuff. This is a very peaceful place to dine in and have some good time. Couples who need a good place to have some good time must visit there .Must visit there to have quality...
