I recently visited this restaurant in Katra, and the experience was nothing short of disappointing. The staff and owner were incredibly impolite from the start. What really caught me off guard was being asked to pay the full bill before I could even place my order. This unusual practice immediately made me feel uneasy about their trust in their customers.
After paying, the confusion only got worse. No one bothered to guide me on who to hand the receipt to in order to get my food. It was frustrating trying to navigate this on my own, especially with the indifferent attitude of the staff.
To top it off, even after paying in advance, I was denied a water bottle unless I went back to the counter in the middle of my meal. This kind of service is unacceptable, and it was clear that customer care was not a priority here.
The food itself was average at best, but honestly, that’s not even the main issue. The way this restaurant operates is appalling. I’ve dined at the Nathu branch in Delhi, and it’s far superior in every aspect—this place could really learn a thing or two from them.
I can't help but feel that many of the positive reviews and ratings for this place are fake or paid. During my visit, it was evident that none of the other customers were happy with the service either.
When my sister politely asked staff to bring food fast as we were hungry since morning, the staff replied rudely "time lagega". Owner is worse than staff, doesn't talk politely.
