ZERO STAR, No idea about cakes, Pathetic delivery, Extremely rude owner, Cheat
I request all buyers and potential buyers who believe in these reviews and have come to the review section for this shop, please do not order cake from this shop. This shop could easily turn your celebration into your biggest nightmare.
The first birthday of any child is very close to the heart of parents and grandparents. We have ordered a vanilla cake with some designs for our twins' first birthday.
What we received was a melted cake and has no vanilla flavour at all. Later shop claimed it is a chocolate truffle cake and to my surprise, it was neither. It was an extremely dry cake from inside, i could easily say it was just bread.
We discussed this with the shop and the shop has admitted their mistake and proposed a refund. We said we want a full refund and they said they will calculate a refund amount and come back to us. Later they started blocking our calls and blocked us on WhatsApp and finally "Ek paisa nahi denge, jo karna hai kar lo".
We could easily go to the shop and fight but we are choosing to spread this awareness in the interest of all the consumers.
Few lines by shop owners while having our conversations Owner - " I have eaten more cakes and eat more cake than you" Us - "What's the point if you have eaten more cakes if you can't figure out how a vanilla flavoured cake looks like."
Owner - " I have given you better thing than what you have asked for" Us - "If a customer asks for Vanilla then there might be very few important reasons behind it. 1. Likes only vanilla flavoured cakes, 2. Doesn't like chocolate cake", 3. Allergic to chocolate
Owner - "I will talk to my father and figure out the refund amount. Papa has said not to refund the entire amount." Us - "Wow!!" "Papa's boy if you can't take ownership of your mistake then you will...
Read moreThis post is basically a Thank you post, a post filled with gratitude for making the birthday of my brother so special. This piñata cake is from The Cake Shop Bakery located at Sujata Chowk. The cake was a dream brownie, a chocolate land which came to life. It was as soft from the inside as it was tough from the outside. The shell was beautifully carved into the shape of a heart which looked extremely gorgeous. For me, it was something which I only had seen in world famous cookery shows or Masterchef, but THE CAKE SHOP brought me a package which was both exciting and yummy.
The piñata cake is named after the Mexican party centrepieces made from papier mache and filled with gifts, and has a hollow centre which is used to hold your favourite sweets.
This cake was priced at rupees 800, and hammer costed another 200. But, once done with the hammer, you may return the hammer, that...
Read moreI recently ordered a 1-pound blueberry cheesecake from Cake Shop Bakery and picked it up from their store. The shop itself was inviting, with a clean and pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were friendly during the pickup. The cake looked appealing, and the blueberry flavor was initially enjoyable. However, the experience was ruined when we discovered a strange sponge-like material inside the cake. It was off-putting and completely spoiled the taste, forcing us to throw away the entire cake. I reached out to the owner to inform them about the issue, hoping for a response or resolution, but my message was ignored, which was disappointing and unprofessional. While the cake’s flavor and the shop’s ambiance were promising, the foreign object and lack of customer service made this a frustrating experience. I’d hesitate to return unless their quality control and...
