Bhawani Daal Baati Churma in Jaisalmer is a culinary gem that offers a quintessential taste of Rajasthani cuisine. Nestled in the heart of the golden city, this humble eatery is renowned for its authentic preparation of daal baati churma, a traditional Rajasthani delicacy.
The baati, perfectly baked with a crisp exterior and soft interior, pairs beautifully with the rich and flavorful daal, cooked with the right blend of spices. The churma, a sweet crumble made from wheat flour, ghee, and sugar, adds a delightful contrast to the savory elements of the meal. The combination is served generously, ensuring a hearty and satisfying experience.
The ambiance is simple but inviting, reflecting the warm hospitality Rajasthan is known for. The staff is friendly and quick, ensuring you feel at home. Despite its modest setup, the eatery maintains excellent hygiene standards. The prices are reasonable, making it an excellent choice for both budget travelers and food enthusiasts.

Read moreFirst let's be clear that when you order daal bati here then you will only get daal and dry bati (without even a drop of ghee) and you will have to order ghee @extra charges. Now the bati that they make is not extraordinarily tasty but its authentic rajasthani bati so this is a must try once in lifetime place. Churma is made right when you order it by crushing the bati and mixing ghee, sugar and dry fruits and churma is very very tasty here and again authentic rajasthani. Buttermilk (chhachh) is also very authentic and tasty. Place is clean but not very hygienic(like most indian dhabas) but all in all must try once and pricing is also very reasonable. So go and try and do let us know too if...

Though the place was very small and not like any big fancy restaurant but the dal bati was good and at a very reasonable price. You can add lassi, churma laddoo, churma plate etc to accompliment your meal.
