Maa Bhawani Dal Baati geeta bhawan — Restaurant in Jodhpur

Must have dal bati at this small dhaba in Jodhpur. Their menu comprises all things that accompany Dal Bati like Choorma, Lehsun chatni, ghee etc. Their Marwari Kulfi is a must have too.

Just that they charged us separately for ghee which was strange as Dal bati usually comes with loads of ghee by default and it was not that we had asked for extra.

Other than good taste, ambience is not that is good,service good.First let's be clear that when you order daal bati here then you will only get daal and dry bati (without even a drop of ghee) and you will have to order ghee @extra charges. Now the bati that they make is not extraordinarily tasty but its authentic rajasthani bati so this is a must try once in lifetime place. Churma is made right when you order it by crushing the bati and mixing ghee, sugar and dry fruits and churma is very very tasty here and again authentic rajasthani. Buttermilk (chhachh) is also very authentic and tasty. Place is clean but not very hygienic(like most indian dhabas) but all in all must try once and pricing is also very reasonable.
