Born To Brew - Café & Restaurant — Restaurant in Jodhpur

I visited for lunch with a friend. We were delighted by the authentic Indian main course. The spices and flavors were extremely impressive for a vegetarian restaurant.

The service was above average, also all the dishes we ordered was just mouth watering.

When we arrived at 2:00 p.m., we were told to wait for 10 minutes while they prepared the table. We hadn't made a reservation, but the restaurant was half full.

We ordered Some snacks as a side dish. They were delicious and the presentation was awesome.

It was very delightful When the owner (Mr. Manvendra Ji Sodha) personally came up to our table and asked if we liked the main course. We said yes we had. He was so generous and offered us a discount too.

We left a tip on the table and exited the restaurant with a smile.

On March 19, 2022, I went to 'born to brew' with a friend. When I asked other people how that place was and what we should get, most of them suggested that we order the pizza. We ordered vegetable delight with that in mind. That, I believe, was my worst decision. The cheese appeared to be really rubbery and oily. I was sick after I got home and couldn't stop vomiting. I could actually imagine all of the cheese of that pizzas being thrown out, causing food poisoning. My friend was likewise sick, vomiting and had an upset stomach.

Today is March 23, 2022, and I'm still sick and don't think I'll be able to heal from that food disaster anytime soon. I hope my message to the owner, manager, and chef of 'born to brew' is clear, because no one can expect such bad and unsanitary food to be made in such a beautiful posh café.

FRAUD ALERT They have started homestay service. They have few rooms, we bargained and lowered down the rate from 2500/room to 2100/room. Worst staff, who calls himself as an owner. Narrating an incident: They came and ask at night, at what time we will have tea in morning. Then, in morning, I asked again to the staff who calls himself as owner, if the tea is complimentary or not. The staff served us with the bill of 520 for 5 chais. My family doesn't have chais in hotels, as the taste is worst in hotels, unless it's complimentary. Then, after he was just shouting, that I didn't listened to the word complimentary, and eventually we had to pay for it. Then, he also doesn't care about reviews as they don't have many rooms. Basically, he had adjusted the amount we bargained in this. Just having good rooms won't have the experience good. Worst staff and service. Please stay away from...
