Firstly, I must commend the ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant, which I would rate a solid 5. The decor and seating arrangements created a pleasant and comfortable environment.
However, the quality of the food was extremely disappointing. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would give it a 1. We decided to try their supposedly famous spicy paneer pizza, but it turned out to be a horrible and stinking mess. The taste was far from what we expected, and the quality of ingredients seemed subpar.
We also ordered the classic arrabiata sauce pasta, hoping for a flavorful and satisfying dish. Unfortunately, it too fell short of expectations. The pasta lacked flavor, and the sauce seemed underwhelming.
To complement our meal, we ordered the tax max fired potato fries, which were just average. They didn't have any distinct taste or seasoning, leaving us unimpressed. We also tried some shakes which was overwhelmingly sweet.
Furthermore, the service provided by the staff was average, earning a rating of 3. While they were courteous, there was nothing remarkable about their service.
We didn't make a reservation and were able to find a table without any trouble.
Overall, my experience at The Almond Grove was deeply disappointing, and I cannot recommend it to others. The lackluster food quality, particularly the terrible spicy paneer pizza and flavorless pasta, was a major letdown. I would not visit this restaurant again in the future.
It's essential to note that reviews are subjective, and others may have a different experience. However, based on my visit, I cannot endorse The Almond Grove as a dining...
Read moreI visited The Almond Grove on Monday, with my brother who had come to visit us from Berlin. After screening couple of restaurants we selected The Almond Grove. Surprisingly there were no one to attend us. Somehow ambushed to draw the attention of a waiter and requested him to clean our table which never cared for. My brother tried to place an order online from your scanner code i believe. There were just 3 tables and all the staff looked very occupied and busy. No body cared till the time we went in physically and gave the order for “3cups of tea”. There was a wait for almost 15 minutes for just a couple of “tea”. We were totally worn out and had no further patience to wait we stepped out of the cafe. This was literally disappointing and biggest disaster for the second time we went there, wherein in our initial visit we had ordered for the same cup of tea and waited for 30 minutes !!! I swear i would never visit this place again and never going to suggest any one from and around jodhpur !!!! Kindly escalate this to the cafe owner to at least look into the matter and resolve the staff...
Read moreThe food has always been good at this place, without a doubt, barring maybe a couple of times where the dish we had ordered was of sub standard quality, apart from that be rest assured that you taste buds will be fully satisfied once you leave the place ( still a decent experience) What’s more disappointing is their service, which is pathetically slow at times and they just don’t feel like getting back to you in case you’ve asked for something in particular apart from the regular order you’ve placed. I feel the place is understaffed, big time. Cater for 25-30 minutes extra in case you are in a hurry. Last but not the least, there is a huge problem of parking, in case you happen to visit this place during the evening hours (that’s peak hours) you have to park your vehicle (if it’s a 4 wheeler) atleast 100-150 m ahead or behind, wherever you can...
