Bungalow 12 — Restaurant in Jodhpur

Such an amazing place in jodhpur that I just can’t write in few words… I visited the place and found out that it is THE BEST place ever, I have visited in Jodhpur. Definitely a Metro city vibe at this place.

Ambience: 💚💚💚💚💚 Located in the lush green area of Jodhpur in Ratanada, this place is away from the crowded food outlet places and gives a nature’s delight with greenery around, with a unique and artistic bottled shape fountain making the atmosphere cozier. Evenings can be no more beautiful and romantic in jodhpur if you visit here. Absolutely spot on

Food: ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 The scenic beauty is just an add-on, the ambience just a one time thing, if you don’t have quality food and I shall give full marks to the amazing Chef and the creators of Menu to come up with NO ONE CAN JUST EAT ONCE food. Frankly speaking I am not a lover of Chaaps, but the Tandoori Soya Chaaps were just amazing… a heavenly treat. Absolutely delicious. Thanks to the Manager who insisted me to have one and if I don’t like, he was ready to refund the amount. But I may become a Fan of this starter. I was fortunate enough to taste couple of more things which are going to be introduced in 2-3 days on the menu. My friends tried Cocktails and were thrilled with the quality. They enjoyed every sip they took. As I don’t drink, so I tried my all time fav mocktail Mojito. I hv tried Virgin Mojito at many places including at Delhi and Mumbai, but this one here at Bunglow 12 (Jodhpur) was just unique and different and delightful. Actual mojito can be enjoyed at this place. Overall, the food quality was Bang On.

Hospitality: 💝💝💝💝💝 Quite young, energetic and warm staff. On time service, hot food served, tastiest food served on time is what foodies look for at Restro pubs. Sometimes one tend to get miffed even if the ambience and food is amazing, merely bcoz of poor hospitality, but the owners must be rewarded for having great bunch of staff and Chefs.

This was my first visit and literally I am not at all satisfied with overall experience.

To begin with, the valet parking went poor as my suv got parked randomly on footpath as they don't have a dedicated parking spot since it's a bunglow converted restaurant. To enter in, the ambience was dark inside and outside. We were guided inside toward a table just in front of their bar counter which as a family with me(including a small child) wasn't comfortable enough but still managed to sit there looking towards the crowded place. Music went on loud inside due to which convo between us wasnt possible and also it was a major issue to the waiter who was taking our order which I will share ahead:

Now the order: B12 Platter - firstly price is not justified against the portion and variety being offered. Barely it included 2 pieces of paneer tikka 2 pieces of Hara bhara kebab 2 pieces of tandoori aloo( this I told the waiter to replace but his said they don't have a policy to replace instead they can reduce that item, Great policy...!!) And some mushrooms(tasted yuck) and 2 soya chaap pieces. Dal Tadka- Portion - Good, Taste- Good Mushroom Hara Pyaaz- Portion- Average, Taste- Good Now the bread story,: I told the waiter to bring 4 tandoori butter rotis, we ate food and when the bill arrived it was billed as tandoori Missi rotis, and to my surprise they said we ate Missi rotis, which I believe I didn't. If it was, I have never eaten such worst Missi roti ever. It was overcooked to burn as well and the waiter was justifying in front of me the price difference between both. This all nonsense happened as he wasn't able to hear properly our order due to their overloud music. Music should be kept Low to a soothing level. I don't know how they justify that. I at least 3-4 times tried to tell the waiter to take main course order but he wasn't able to hear it. Finally I had to raise my voice louder than music to order main course. Overall, I am totally disappointed with my first visit and surely the last one. Won't recommend anyone else to make...
