We had been looking for typical Rajasthani food. Our can driver took us to Chimney RJ 19. It was a simple restaurant,initially we were apprehensive but when we spoke to the cook who was preparing meal and when the food came onour table... We were glad we chose to eat there.

Thi se who are on a lookout for typical Rajasthani food trust me all.. This is the right place. The Rajasthani Thali had 8 small bowls with various dishes, four indian bread with Chaach.

Each dish was authentic in taste, well prepared, not too oily ( like at other places) and light on the stomach. Served with a sweet dish.

We gave tip to the cook for coming in person to check..It was made with pure heart and lots of love n one could make out from the taste.

So it's not always advisable to judge the book by its cover. Do go and promote these small joints with reasonable and good food. They need our...

The most authentic rajasthani food experience. Homely food prepared and served with love. We had dal batti churma thali, masala papad and masala chaas, all of which were superbly prepared without adding any extra oil or colour while maintaining the authenticity of the meal. They provide a sit down layout for eating in a traditional style. The servers are utterly polite and seemed very caring. They have a local lady who cooks in the most traditional and authentic way. 💯 Recommended, it's a must try if you're looking for the authentic experience and not the touristy trap food that is mislabeled...

We visited Chimney on 27th Dec afternoon. Here are few highlights

1. Restaurant service was very pathetic. They did not serve water even after sitting 30 minutes.
2. They served roti and gutta curry without giving a single spoon. Gutta curry was served in very small bowl and only 2 person can have that and imagine the marked price of gutta curry was 295/-
3. Dal baati was not at all up to the mark. It was not dipped with ghee which was the major miss.
