Birali Heights Rooftop kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Jodhpur

With all the hype and advertisement, Birali Heights was chosen for a family dinner. Surprisingly, the restaurant was not interested in serving their guests! I am in all assumptions that its the day one of opening post lockdown, but the kitchen was just incapable of serving their guests. The reception could have easily excused us for the night, given that it was an advanced booking. What followed was a series of pathetic service (1.5 hrs to get the main course and nobody to serve), quantity (the "non-veg platter" is just a mix of kitchen left-overs, keeping one guessing if they even ate something... how can one be so lousy at naming dishes), cleanliness (how can one eat at a table with food loitering on the floor and no staff to clean), taste( no matter how bad a restaurant is at the service end, but good food can cover up for everything... guess what, Lal Maans and Chicken Curry is worth throwing away; Guava Stripser has everything in excessive amounts... can be skipped) and God damn uncomfortable seating ( this place is the reson why more people should commission Architects/Interior designers to develope their spaces and furniture; apart from the roof top, the entire building is terribly ventilated... no wonder food's not gonna taste good). Its difficult to be brutally critical about someone but just the fact that the managing staff dropped by the table again and again with a smiling face, just to ask for our review, clearly shows that the owners of Birali Heights have no clear intentions/motivation behind this restaurant; its just another business for them (someone from a hotel management industry would understand this very well). Yet another place in Jodhpur for ill-motivated youth to get some beer and smoke; clearly not recommended for families! Hope this place gets better soon... All the best...

Very humane and helpful staff at this place. They helped me even when I was not their paying customer today. I was supposed to be at this place for a get together and had reached here, but at the last moment the venue was changed and I had to go to some other place. When I was going back, my scooter just wouldn't start no matter how many times I tried it, even with kickstart. Then I asked for help from their Guard, later even their receptionist came to help. They tried quite hard and did at least 20-25 kicks and ultimately my scooter started and I could go. Please convey my regards to your Guard and Receptionist on duty today. They are so dedicated towards customers visiting the place. Will surely be returning to visit this...

Really nice place to spent time with family or friends. They have open area to sit at roof top, which really makes your experience amazing at evening. Food was good, service is little slow but as you could see in pic they have really arranged amazing folk artists (not sure if they arrange them on occasion, daily or weekly basis), so you won't even care to wait for your orders. Food price is little overpriced, but should be ok if you consider other things. I would love to visit it again n will recommend others to visit atleast once. They don't hv proper space for car parking, Better you go with Ola or some other...
