Read moreI recently visited Janta in Jodhpur and made a purchase of goods worth ₹2,000-₹3,000. While there, we bought a single slice of bread for a child. The child couldn’t eat plain bread, so we politely requested the staff to add a little butter. The staff, who was already using butter for making bhaji, refused outright.
We then approached the reception to explain the situation and even offered to pay for the butter, but the man at the reception was incredibly rude and ignored us. The manager, who was present at the time, was equally dismissive and rude, stating, “We are not doing charity.”
I was deeply disappointed by the lack of empathy and basic decency. It’s shocking that such a well-established and seemingly affluent business could not spare a little butter for a child, something that even a humble street vendor would likely have provided with a smile.
This experience left me feeling disheartened, as it’s not just about the butter—it’s about compassion, which was entirely missing. I hope this feedback encourages you to reflect on how you treat your customers and handle such situations...
Read moreThis place is awesome if you aren’t a foodie or haven’t tasted street food in Delhi or Indore. I am providing my group feedback where we had similar views. Do not try their sandwiches because it tastes like a loaf of thick breads with some filling inside it. Do try their ghevar Rabdi. It’s mouth watering, hough their taste changes from outlet to outlet. The one we loved was at Nai Sadak and the one disappointed us was in this outlet where I am putting my review). Try their variety of rabdi as well. They have nice chhole alu tikki provided you aren’t a diehard fan of Karol Baug, Delhi or Indori tikis. Their Dahi Wada is filled up with unnecessary leaves garnishing and thereby making a lot of mixes in the original taste of curd. Gajar ka halwa was five star! I didn’t eat but my pals went mad at it. Do try it surely. They have excellent feni and sweet counter to carry back home if you are a tourist. Their packing, hygiene, support and service is pretty good. In short, try this place without comparing. Do not expect that you will get the best...
