My experience at Prasad Food Divine (Kalyan West, above Croma) was highly disappointing. Despite the promising reviews, the reality fell far short of expectations. Firstly, the service was incredibly slow. They all were busy in serving Bisleri bottles, where the margin is double (bottle of 20/- sold in 40/-). We waited nearly 30 minutes just to get our Main course, in spite of 60-70% of the restaurant being empty and our server seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. Our main concern was with the quality of the starter served to us. We ordered Paneer Chilly. At the end of the plate, my wife got a piece of hair. Staff coming out of the kitchen with food & staff inside the kitchen, as I could see, 70-80% were without hair cap. I am not sure even if plates are checked properly before serving the food over it. As soon as our starter was getting served, we ordered for Main course also, so it clearly states that we are done with our order. As soon as we saw the hair, we informed the waiter & told him gently that, this is not a complain but just see. We didn’t want to create a scene & bring this into notice of the customer around us. Waiter said, can I order something else. As we were done with out order/food, we requested him to less this amount & do not charge for starter. Ordering extra food would have compensated us but we were really not in a mood to order anything more after seeing the quality & moreover we didn’t want to waste any food.
After seeing the bill, we were shocked that how bluntly that waiter didn’t minus that amount & charged us for the entire food. Eventually, I had to fight with the manager at the counter. He tried to play smartly by adding his membership code & provided 15 % discount. This is literally not done. Stater for 350/- & discount was not even 30%. This was my third & definitely the last visit to the great Prasad Food Divine. I should have taken the photo & video & made it viral, so that the real picture of this so-called great restaurant is out to the public. I really do not have the time to get into consumer court & all. Hence, want to make all the people aware that just think 10 times before even planning to visit here. Also, Sizzlers (veg Manchurian) was a utter waste & tasteless. The ambiance was not what we anticipated. The restaurant was noisy and cramped, making it difficult to have a conversation without shouting across the table. The overall cleanliness of the dining area left much to be desired as well. In conclusion, I would not recommend Prasad Food Divine (Kalyan west, Maharashtra) based on my experience. The combination of poor service, mediocre food quality, and subpar ambiance makes it a place I won’t be...
Read moreThis review is purely for their restaurant Prasad Food Divine and not Hotel Gurudev Grand overall and pardon me upfront for it being a bit lengthy.
Visited the place with my family of 5 for a dinner.
Food : I would rate food 3 stars out of 5 mainly because of two reasons.
Taste : 3/5 There were some items which were good, such as Veg Khao Soi soup, Manchow soup and cheese stuffed mushrooms however not exceptional. Kaju curry was a major disappointment, since it appeared and tasted like roasted kajus have just been dipped in watery tomato puree with low masalas. Mojitos were ok however watermelon Mojitos could have been a bit less sweet.
Availability : 1/5 We went a bit late and had waiting so got the table at around 11 pm, however in deserts and mocktails most of the things which we asked from menu were not available and the staff said that its late and the chefs have gone home.
In fact even before kitchen was closed some of the dishes on the menu were upfront not available.
I understand the late timings, however what i have experienced in other restaurants is if by any chance kitchen is getting closed and still their are customers, the staff does visit, inform on same and request for last order which didn't happen here. This wasn't expected from a decent restaurant brand like Prasad.
Customer Service : 4/5 Customer Service was decent and cordial with the acceptable serving time.
Atmosphere : 5/5 Very Nice and relaxing fine dine ambience....
Read moreWe opted for this place for a family event. The so-called "rules" are only for customers. The management doesn't oblige to have any convenient rules for customers. Eg. Rule no. 1
Complete payment to be made before the event. But they would not call you for tasting in spite of repeated requests and follow-ups.
No. 2 Monopoly of the decorator: we had a very bad experience. The lady in charge doesn't have the courtesy to share sample pictures. She would not respond to texts and was always busy with other events. When we followed up she would say she would call us to see her decor, she seldom did. Once when she did, she gave us a very short intimation around 6 pm in the evening and called us to see her decoration before 7pm. When we went to see it was not for a similar event, we did not get a clear idea. It was as bad as a wait period of 2.5 months-yet nothing got finalized. Just two days before the event we were contacted and given 2 options amongst which we had to select one. We have shared this feedback with management and we hope that this service gets better in future
I would like to mention that the food they served was tasty. It is a good place for a guest could of around 250 For 300 and above it gets very crowded and clumsy. They put up 2 counters put up in "L-shape" but no one was present on the floor nor there was any signboard to guide the guests so it got very crowded...
