We recently visited Gavdevi Restaurant at Khadakpada, Kalyan. The ambiance was perfect for a cozy evening out, Indian desi village type adding to the overall enjoyment.

The ambiance of the restaurant was delightful, offering a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. Whether dining with friends, family, or colleagues, the atmosphere provided a relaxing backdrop for a memorable meal.

As for the food, both the Chinese and non-Chinese options were outstanding. From sumptuous veggie dishes to mouthwatering non-veg delicacies, there's something to tantalize every palate. The quality and quantity of the food were exceptional, ensuring satisfaction with every bite. Their tandoori dishes are superbly flavorful, and the bhakri was a delightful accompaniment. We loved the authentic taste of Punjabi cuisine at this restaurant. Their vegetarian Punjabi dishes are a delight to the taste buds of a vegetarian person.

In terms of prices, I found them to be reasonable considering the high-quality offerings and attentive service. It's rare to find such value for money in a hotel of this caliber.

Not the best place for eating food, but definitely the best place for wasting your money. Not worth the cost and the food quality is not that nice.

So we ordered the following :

Bombil fish - The fish was oily as also it was ( वैस ). It was overall only fried in masala and oil, that's it.

Chicken tikka masala - It was tender and cooked nice but the problem was that right at the beginning, when ordering we said that we don't want any dish spicy but instead of non-spicy the gravy was very spicy.🥵🥵

Tandoori roti ( without butter ) - Actually the problem that happened was that we forgot to order Tandoori butter roti but instead we ordered only Tandoori roti which resulted in a very crunchy and not soft....

Overall...

Worst service. Waiting for order to b received since 50minutes. Disgusting staff not responding properly. God knows what the hell would b the quality n quantity of food. Pathetic service that too weekdays. Hell test. Mutton was not cooked properly at all. Idiots they said it take lot of whistle for mutton to cook then post 65minutes order what the hell they cooked. Mutton was half cooked. Pathetic serivce. . Irresponsible. Idiots. Rude staff, first time experience and that too worst ever....pay them fully with taxes ans get half cooked food. Height of irresponsible behaviour. Zero nahi minus rating...
