The Food Town — Restaurant in Kalyan-Dombivli

This place is located just a few minutes walk away from the Kalyan Railway Station. If you ever find yourself in search for a good food place in Kalyan then this is definitely the place for you. This is your usual cafe type of place that serves the regular things but what makes this place worth visiting for me is the taste. I went in here with not much expectations but the ambiance, service and food was a real delight. Its a medium sized place with a glass wall and few tables to accomodate customers. Its very lit due to the natural light flooding in. They also have those yellow bulbs that adds to its pretty ambiance. We were quite happy to spend our time here munching on food. We had-

• MOCKTAILS • ~ Virgin Mojito: To beat the scorching heat we decided to start with a plain virgin mojito. It had the perfect balance of mint and sugar along with the lime juice. It was quite refreshing and we enjoyed every sip of it.

~ Bali Beach: This mocktail was a perfect blend of pineapple and blue berry. The tangy taste of pineapple along with the blue berry was very refreshing and a delight to our taste buds.

~ Delight Punch: This mocktail was a little thick and had a mix of Peru and Peach topped with basil leaves. I was skeptical about this combination but it turned out to be really delicious as we finished it within seconds.

~ Blue Heaven: This blue coloured mocktail was a slight let down as compared to the other perfect mocktails served here. It was just too sweet for my liking that kind of reduced the taste.

~ Urban Ferry: This litchi flavoured mocktail, personally, was the best of all the mocktails that we had here. The perfect taste of litchi along with proper amount of sweetness created a bliss for me. Highly recommended.

• OPEN BREAD ITEMS • ~ Paneer Lasuni: For 150 bucks this one was a really good dish. The perfect equilibrium between paneer, garlic flavour and cheese created a wonderful taste. We definitely loved it.

~ Open Cheese Chillly: This open bread item was served on a mini version of wooden cart. 8 triangle shaped pieces of bread were served on that cart. The breads had a layer of mozzarella, spicy masala, chinese flavour peppers and other veggies. The cheese and the spicy flavour was very scrumptious. This is highly recommended by me if you're here.

• PIZZA • ~ Peppy Paneer Pizza: This was a pan sized pizza with a normal crust. It was loaded with paneer and had a spicy suace. The taste of paneer with the spicy sauce was very delightful to our taste buds. We were happily munching on it.

~ Kulcha Pizza: 2 small sized pizza with kulcha as a base served with french fries. The idea of using kulcha as the base with pizza toppings works wonderfully. It was very delectable.

Both the pizzas are highly recommended if you visit this place. I'm sure your taste buds would thank you for having these pizzas!

• JUICE • ~ Rimzim: This is the perfect summer drink imo. It had a perfect blend of strawberry and kiwi. The strawberry flavour was a tad bit dominating but that just made it very scrumptious. It was topped a kiwi slice. This juice looks as beautiful as it tastes.

~ Kala Jamun: A thick juice that was a Kala Jamun heaven. If you love kala jamuns then don't miss out on this one. It was pure Kala Jamun taste without any dilution.

~ Cinderella Blossom: This is the best juice from their menu. Vanilla based apple flavour blended perfectly with a smooth texture. It was so delicious that I couldn't stop myself from drinking it in one go.

• GRILL SANDWICH • ~ Melting Grill Sandwich: One of the best grill sandwiches that I have had. It was a huge sandwich with 3 layers of bread and a great amount of stuffing. It had the perfect spicyness and ample amount of melted cheese that created a pure bliss in my mouth. Highly recommended!

• FRIES • ~ Mexican Fries: Fresh, soft and crispy fried were served with 5 different types of sauces that in unison had my taste buds craving for more with each bite that I took. It was topped with grated cheese, olives which made it even more delectable. Highly...

Today was tired to go out as it’s sunny day so thought to eat good food so I called one foodie friend and asked he gave few names I served that on zomato and found The Food Town very interesting place as it has wide menu and found nice clicked pics here so went there it’s located near Sahajahan chow near Kalyan station as I entered place liked the ambiance and the main part is staff is friendly and the owner of the place is also very friendly and they suggest proper food as well as they serve good food that satisfy your stomach as well as tongue first I went alone then after seeing menu and having couple of mocktails and food I called my gang there and then we had a best treat after a long time here we tried Peach sparkle mocktail - nice peach flavour soda based mocktail with mint and lemon garnishing good in taste and refreshing Bubble gum mocktail - if you wanna remember childhood try this out it gives real bubblegum taste nicely created its soda based mocktail Mastani Milkshake - Classic flavour milkshake along with crushed dryfuit and ice cream flavour in short can say Rajbhog Milkshake Jamun Shots - six shots of jamun shake as u drink you will feel like you eating jamun but best part is your mouth will not be purple ;) if you jamun lover just go for it Chocolate Crunch Milkshake - nice thick milkshake chocolate flavour with waffle biscuits and chocolate toppings Mexican French Fries - proper Mexican flavour on French Fries nicely prepared food in quantity amazing in taste proper cheese proper topping proper sauces and good quantity of fries Nachos jain - jain nachos simply plain nachos with cheese sauce and salsa Piri Piri Nachos - piri piri flavour nachos topped with cheese sauce salsa along with salsa sauce and mayo Melting Sandwich - heavy thick Sandwich with melting stuffing and melted cheese enough for two like me ;) Sev Puri Sandwich - nice se Puri flavour inside the sandwich you will get proper se Puri along with exotic stuffing corns and you will feel like you eating sandwich and sev Puri togather Jain Garlic Bread with cheese - first time heard of garlic bread without garlic ;) yes it’s true it gives nice taste as well it had cheese chilli and oregano in topping Jain Cheese Burst Pizza - Nice cheese burst on ready base nicely created good toppings less spicy prepared mainly for cheese lovers Pappy Paneer Pizza - nice spicy paneer flavour pizza crust was nicely baked Jain Melting Sandwich - melting sandwich in Jain preparation Paneer Lasooni - open bread with lasooni paneer topping and cheese Jain Cheesy Bite - open bread with cheese topping Nice experience best pert is service is good and food is best they do have one more outlet near by where they have chat items it’s great to have nominal range chats with hygiene I heard that they serve Pani Puri @ Rs.11 on 11th if every month super idea to promote it and yes they have good taste of Pani Puri...

"The Food Town" this place i always used to see while passing from Shajanand chowk and everytime while crossing there used to be a lot of peoples inside enjoying food. Yesterday as i was nearby to this place due to some work i got up a chance to visit this place with my friend. This place surely has a good atmosphere and pleasant interior. The lights , table settings and wall frames were adding so much beauty to its ambience. This outlet is small but is beautifully crafted. The service staff members greeted us warmly and made us seated. They also helped us suggesting some lipsmacking delicacies. We ordered the below dishes:- ✓ Mocktails Bali beach Pan shot Both the mocktails were presented so beautifully and it was so refreshing and chilled to have. Bali beach is a perfect mocktails to have with lipsmacking fast food bites. Pan shot was another level experience to have. 6 pan shots was presented in a unique shots holder and it tasted truly awesomee. Highly recommended.

✓Food Mexican french fries Here the french fries were tossed with finely chopped veggies, olives and was made in a tangy and cheesy sauce. It tasted tangy and cheeselicious. All the indrigients were in perfect quantity as french fries was having a crispyness . Loved it.

Paneer chilly dry Crispy paneer was made in a chilly style with onions capscicum and red chilly. It was so delicious to have.

TFT Special grill sandwich This was the special food town grill sandwich which was stuffed with mouthwatering blend of veggies cheese and served with green and red chutney. It tasted wowwsome. Must try.

Paneer lasuni This is one of the most running dish of food town. Breads were covered with the garlic and veggies mixture which is buttery and cheesy. It is truly a scrumpticious dish to have.

5 . Cheese burst pizza Thin crust pizza is covered with chopped veggies and melted cheese. It was perfectly baked and is very tasty and palatable.

✓Freakshakes Ferroro rocher freakshake. What a mouthwatering and awesome experience to have such a toothsome and succulent and rich chocolate freakshake. It is presented so deliciously and is crafted minutely. A perfect mixture of ice cream , rich chocolate shake, choco chips, ferroro rocher chocolates and much more. Highly recommended from my side.

This outlet surely is one of the best places in kalyan to visit and have some yummy food with friends ,family and loved ones. It was a memorable experience visiting this place and the service is also good. Prices are also normal. Worthed...
