Five Elements Hotels - Delhi (Hotel North Avenue) — Hotel in Delhi

This review is not about all staff - This is only about Lady Receptionist which you will meet first while checking in. She is very rude and Unprofessional.

I reached hotel early around 1 hour before check in time. I was asked to wait which was fine but for some reason the Lady Receptionist had some enmity with me he let others checkin who came after me. And not even ready to tell me how much time it will take. Then when I interrupted and asked her that why she is doing so then she gave me a room just behind her desk which generally no one prefers. I asked to give me another, if not ready now I will wait till check in time and she said this is only available room. And just after 5 minutes she gave me another room which was available since starting. This was done I was in my room. But I didn't understand why she did what she did. So I gave her benefit of doubt and called via landline. I asked why she behaved like this? Did she find anything wrong with me. And I asked this with very polite voice. She didn't admit her mistake not even 1% and then I said I was planning to extend but this bad behaviour is too much. She said no problem you can checkout tomorrow only.

I don't know why she studied about hospitality. She shouldn't be at the reception. How can hotel owner tolerate...

I recently stayed at the hotel in Delhi and overall, I had a decent experience. While there were a few areas that could use improvement, such as uncomfortable mattresses and non-lockable bathrooms, the friendly and helpful staff and pleasant locality made up for it.

One of the biggest downsides of the hotel was the mattresses, which were quite uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the bathrooms were not lockable, which was a bit of a privacy concern.

However, the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. They were always available to answer any questions I had and were quick to respond to any requests or issues that arose.

The locality of the hotel, Kamla Nagar, was also very nice. It was a relatively quiet and peaceful area, but still had plenty of shops, restaurants, and other amenities nearby.

Upon my early arrival, I approached the reception to check in, only to be informed by the staff that no rooms were available. Despite highlighting my priority check-in feature, the receptionist countered by questioning if I had received a confirmation email directly from them, effectively dismissing my query.

After a prolonged hour wait in the lobby, I observed two individuals check in and receive a room immediately upon direct payment to the hotel. Upon inquiry, the receptionist explained that my online booking precluded me from early check-in privileges and justified it by citing differences in pricing between online and direct bookings. Eventually, I was allocated a room around 12:30 PM.

Furthermore, our experience was further marred by the sight of a cat freely roaming the corridor and entering the kitchen area, raising concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the establishment's food preparation areas.
