Bikanerwala has long been a trusted name for authentic North Indian vegetarian cuisine and exquisite mithai, but the Kamla Nagar branch has set a new benchmark for what a complete dining experience should be. Our recent visit was memorable not just for the food, which was predictably superb, but for the outstanding, heartwarming service we received from a staff member named Anand.

From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy, yet managed efficiently. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The cleanliness of the establishment was immediately noticeable—floors gleamed and tables were spotless, which is no small feat for a restaurant with such high footfall in a busy market.

Our culinary journey began with a classic Raj Kachori. It was a masterpiece of textures and flavours—perfectly crisp shell filled with tangy yoghurt, sweet and spicy chutneys, and an assortment of savoury fillings that exploded with every bite. For the main course, we opted for the Chole Bhature. The chole were cooked to perfection with a rich, deep gravy and the bhaturas were spectacularly fluffy, light, and piping hot. It was, without a doubt, one of the best versions we've had.

However, the true highlight of our afternoon was the service provided by Anand, who was assigned to our section. His professionalism and genuine warmth were evident...

Bikanervala in Kamla Nagar, Delhi, is a well-established spot for anyone craving authentic North Indian and traditional Rajasthani flavors. Known for its extensive menu, this vegetarian restaurant offers everything from street-style chaats to hearty thalis, making it perfect for diverse tastes. The sweets section is a standout, featuring a wide variety of freshly made mithais like rasgullas, gulab jamuns, and kaju katlis.

What makes this outlet special is its spacious, well-lit ambiance, perfect for family outings or casual meetups. The self-service model ensures a quick dining experience, ideal for those exploring the bustling Kamla Nagar market. Their hygienic preparation and consistent taste have built a loyal customer base.

Why visit? Bikanervala offers a blend of taste, tradition, and quality. Whether you're in the mood for a light snack, a festive sweet, or a full meal, it's a go-to place for delicious vegetarian fare. Plus, its location in Kamla Nagar makes it a convenient stop after a...

Good, but like these joints normally, should rethink their range and try to include some healthy food too. Updating in response to a Google prompt after some years. Went there around 7:30 pm today, not at all crowded; ordered sweets totalling Rs. 850, not a very complicated order, yeah? But one of the guys who was packing them botched up even this, I wouldn't have even known if I hadn't accidentally checked! Instead of 3 chamchams, I found 2; do you expect me to check every little box Ganesh buddy? What happened to trust, the old Delhi tahzeeb? So I am reducing one more star, sorry Bikaner, you better take your business elsewhere if you don't follow the cultural norms...

I visited the place to buy some sweets yesterday. They do packing behind the counter so one cannot see what is being packed. I ordered laddu, gulab jamun and other items. The young lady packed almost all broken laddus and filled the gulab jamun box with its syrup (chashni), less gulab jamun and lots of chashni. I was disappointed to see this as I always prefer to buy sweets from here whenever I visit to my favourite Kamla Nagar market. Moreover, the quality of laddu and gulab jamun is not as expected and not worth their expensive price. I would suggest to check while they are packing your order. No one wants to eat chashni in place of gulab jamun.

Visited Bikanervala, Kamla Nagar and ordered chole bhature, aloo-pyaaz paratha, and idli sambhar. The ambience was nice, but the service was disappointing. It was 11 in the morning with only 7–8 customers at a single table, yet my food took 30 minutes to arrive, despite being told it would take 10–15 minutes. As for the taste — the chole bhature was good, the idli sambhar was decent, but the aloo-pyaaz paratha was a letdown. The filling was only in the center, while the sides were just plain atta. They really need to improve both the consistency of their food and their customer service.
