Gin & Ginger Bistro — Restaurant in Kanpur

The parking and indoor area was very nice but the food was very bad and the service was alright not good nor very bad. The open area is also nice ,it has a swing. The decoration was very nice but as I said ,very low quality food. There are bantas available here. There is also machine and they make the bantas in the restaurant. The French fries were out of a packet,like a mc'ain packet. So the fries were alright. We also ordered chole and it was bland,like no salt,chilli,masala nothing. The Dal makhani was also alright, not good. The veg biryani was also bad ,my aunt can cook better biryani then theirs. The dum aloo was good but that was the only good thing. The service as I said is also not up to my expectations. The roti was also alright. So overall, the experience was bad and as I said through my rating I disliked the experience. An amazing experience is what awaits at Gin & Ginger, interestingly we planned it very randomly, but everything from the food to the overall vibe is extremely inviting. The food slightly on the $$$ side of pricing, does complete justice to the price as it's quality is excellent and so is the taste. We tried Dry Chilly Paneer & Thin Crust Pizzas and they were both made to perfection to say the least. The variety of beverages is large and a good number of desserts are there to choose from. We chose this restaurant randomly and were pleasantly surprised The crispy corn was a great start The penne pasta in alfredo sauce came with just the right mix of broccoli mushrooms and bell peppers This was followed by Thai green curry with jasmine rice !
