The spinach flavor was lost under layers of unnecessary heaviness. Paneer, which should be soft and fresh, was just okay—not the worst, but certainly not impressive.
Afghani Chaap:
This was a huge disappointment. Afghani Chaap is supposed to have a creamy, smoky, and mildly spiced flavor, but what we got was an overwhelming, bland mess. The chaap was chewy and didn’t absorb the flavors well. The creaminess felt artificial, and the spices were either too dull or too unevenly spread. It lacked that rich, smoky taste you expect from a well-made Afghani Chaap.
Laccha Paratha:
The biggest struggle of the meal! Laccha Paratha should be crispy on the outside and soft inside, but these were so dense and oily that even finishing one felt like a task. The layers were stuck together, making it chewy rather than flaky. Two of these were simply too much to handle, making the entire meal feel unnecessarily heavy.
Overall Experience:
The meal was too rich, too heavy, and not enjoyable. The flavors didn’t blend well, and instead of feeling satisfied, we were left feeling stuffed and sluggish. Food Experience:
We ordered Dahi ke Kebab, Spring Roll, and Chilli Paneer. The food was served just warm and felt like it had been prepared much earlier, rather than freshly made.
The taste was average at best.
Their Dal Makhani, which is supposed to be one of their signature dishes, was below expectations compared to other outlets.
