YU Lounge & Bar — Restaurant in Kanpur

Visited Yu Lounge and Bar at Landmark Hotel expecting a pleasant dining experience, but it turned out to be extremely disappointing. The food quality was pathetic — we ordered vegetarian dishes, and everything was either overly spicy or completely bland, with no sense of balance or flavor.

The service was just as bad. Staff seemed disinterested and untrained, and the overall atmosphere lacked the professionalism you’d expect from a restaurant inside a reputed hotel. The manager, Ashish, was particularly unprofessional, with a casual attitude that made the experience even worse. He seriously needs basic hospitality training.

For a restaurant located in one of the city’s top hotels, this was a horrible experience. Definitely not...

I come here to enjoy not to be judged!

I went to YU, Landmark and my experience is really bad with the staff. They'll judge what you're wearing and that's just unacceptable. I didn't liked the behavior they way the say " You're wearing slippers so you cannot enter inside". This statement just freaking bad it shows the way staff and their mangers just judege us by our outfits. It's a city of educated people and I don't think this behavior will increases their standards.

I would highly recommend not to visit these places where people will judge you with what you're wearing and slippers I don't think will ever increase or decrease the standards it's all about your comfort. And where you're not comfortable you should...

I visited this place along with my 3 friends on 16th Jan 2022 at 3:30 pm and stayed till 4:40pm.

We enjoyed the tasty food, beautiful view from the very top of the building, etc etc.

But service of this place is pathetic, their staff is so unprofessional, they don't know anything about the hospitality.

They forcefully demanded tip from us, yes literally ... We paid the bill and left some amount (300 approx.)for them but they denied to take that amount and asked us to give more, they said they want 1000 per person atleast (1000×4).They were demanding for the tip like it's the part of our bill. They were continuously...
