Parking: car parking is non existent, there is no valet service despite other restaurants offering the same. So had to find a parking spot in a nearby narrow street.
Location: 1st floor of the building right next to the main road, flanked by other businesses, so you won't miss it. Lift is available which accommodates 6 people.
Ambience: the entry was somewhat narrow and the waiting area next to the reception is a bit congested, but otherwise a good looking and fairly decorated place. Seats are comfy, proper distance between tables and allows adequate room to manouevre. Seating capacity might seem small but has roughly 12-15 tables. Despite the crowd it was comfortable. Music was mild and nice.
Menu: Standard options with a few in house specials. Ambur biriyani is their MSP but do have some good options too. Nothing fancy on paper, but doesn't fall short on variety. Lots of non veg dishes with about 25% vegetarian ones.
Service: as mentioned, it was crowded, and the staff has their hands full. But despite it all, the service was well done. A few dishes got delayed due to number of orders which is understandable, But waiting time for food was never annoying. Staff members were kind, courteous, helpful and always ready to help. 2 thumbs up for wonderful catering and professional management of orders. I genuinely appreciate the service staff for ensuring no customer ever had to wait too long. Well done indeed.
Food: what can I say. I was pleasantly surprised and definitely impressed by the food quality, aroma, taste and quantity. Right from the soup and starters to main course with rotis and curry to biriyani to desserts and juices, it was fantastic.
Final thoughts: I must admit, I had not expected such a great meal here. I was initially thrown off by the hassle of parking but the food and service more than made up for it. Thanks for the...

We tried the Chicken Varuval which was an impressive start to the meal.Perfectly cooked with a crispy outer layer and tender, flavorful insides. The seasoning struck a great balance between spicy and tangy. Next we had the tandoor chicken which was well-marinated delight, bursting with flavors and a hint of citrus. Served with a refreshing mint chutney, it complemented the dish beautifully. Dragon chicken was with a fusion twist that surprised us with bold flavors and textures. It’s a must-try for adventurous food lovers.
Mutton biryani lived up to the hype and exceeded expectations.Every grain of rice was perfectly cooked and infused with the rich flavors of spices. The meat was tender and juicy, blending seamlessly served with raita and brinjal curry, both of which enhanced the dish.
The service was attentive and friendly, with staff eager to recommend dishes and customize spice levels. The ambiance added to the experience, with soft lighting and traditional decor creating a cozy yet elegant setting.
They also have valet parking for 4 wheelers.
If you’re looking for a place that serves authentic biryani and flavorful starters, Star Briyani is definitely worth a visit. Perfect for both casual dining and...
