Coffee Confessions — Restaurant in Karnataka

I don't mean to be disrespectful to anybody but the people working in this cafe are very rude.

I like working from cafes and I order a ton of food 'cause I sit there for hours. Yes, I don't immediately order as soon as I reach as I do us at work. I order later once I feel hungry and trust me, I am a big food lover and I love to try out something different in any cafe where I work.

First when I entered the cafe there was nobody to tell me where to sit. Ideally if you have reserved a table, you put a reserve sign there. I wanted a table for one and I went and sat at a table that I felt was comfortable for me. Later within the next 20 minutes, the entire staff was at my table asking me to order the food. They didn't let me breathe or even give me the space to work in peace. Very annoying and very cheap habit. After many disturbances I ordered a coffee.

Secondly, when I asked them that why are they at my table every 10 minutes asking me to order. They were like, their owner asks them to do so. Apparently the owner checks the camera and if sees that there's no food at someone's table then he's directed them to tell them to leave.

I even told them 10,000 times that I will order. Kindly please let me be and even then they were at my table again and again and again and again and again. For a customer, who's there for some peace of mind, it's not just annoying it's also very disappointing. I was very upset when I left.

I was then asked to move from the table I was sitting to because it was "reserved". They should have put a reserved sign. They hadn't. Once I moved to another table, after an hour or so when I was going to ask them for a menu, a person comes and tells me that I need to order if not then I need to leave. I got so annoyed that I told them I am leaving please get me the bill. That person was very very very rude to me.

Another one of their staff members came to me and asked me to give them a review. I was like definitely. I will give you guys a long review once I reach home. I even told her that please tell your manager that I will never come back to this cafe because your services are pathetic.

Later on I felt bad for telling that because genuinely I am a very nice person. I am really sorry for being rude to the staff members. Except for that one person who was a crude. If the owner is reading my review, I honestly want to tell you that you need to teach your staff to behave well. Because people won't order if you are at their table every 5 minutes. Went in with family for a quick break. The ambience, although cozy, doesn't smell like inside of a coffee shop. Tried to order at the counter but was told to wait at the table by the girl at the counter. Although there were only a handful of people at the shop, the staff came after about 7-8 minutes to take the order. I order a Baked blueberry cheese cake and hazelnut hot chocolate, which was listed under coffee in the menu for some reason. She came back with the smallest piece of cheesecake I've seen in my life. I literally asked her if this is my order or if it was only for tasting. It was less than a third of what you get at any good bakery or coffee shop and to my disappointment, tasted worse than it looked. Another few minutes later, she came with a cold freppe instead of my order. When I told her what I had ordered, she had no recollection of it. After wasting about 20 minutes and eating two bites of the worst cheesecake of my life, I paid and asked them if I could give my feedback. As expected, no response. Not a word of regret or an expression of remorse on their faces.

I give this place one star to thank them that they exist to tell us the difference between a good coffee place and a terrible one. Never stepping foot here again. And whoever is running this place, please train your staff better and go taste a baked cheesecake at a...

Cockroach dipped fries, Cold sandwich with Cockroach dipped French fries was served at this place. It's been 3 days since I was served this food n the cafe manager owner is yet to call me despite bringing to their notice on WhatsApp. The sandwich was not even properly grilled, n on top of it the staff was busy browsing his phone n I had to pleasingly look towards him to kinda remind him that I am waiting for my food. God, came the long awaited sandwich which was almost cold as if it was the leftover that was being served, hungry me didn't think much n grabbed the sandwich, n few fries as well. Lucky me, tat I noticed the cockroach topped fries n saved myself. I was expecting a genuine response from the cafe manager but he disconnected my call, i dropped him the photo n msg on WhatsApp but NO REVERT as yet. Initially I thought i must not publicize but it shows the negligence of the staff, irresponsibility of the management, unhygiene n quality standards of the cafe. if it's not told then who knows it might continue unattended.
