Andhra Ruchulu Hubli — Restaurant in Karnataka

Here's one newly opened cuisine restaurant namely ANDRA RUCHULU at president hotel hubli and i must say that the food was amaazing. We had non veg andra food here. Vegetarian andra thali is also available here. They have given plain papad as complementary. Drinks are also available here. We had guntur chicken which was super delicious. andra chilly chicken was ok ,i personally didn't like it because it was too saucy. Chapatis were available which were super soft and chicken biryani was also really good. I wish i cud taste the andra ruchulu but unfortunately it was not available. We also had desserts here and all of them were super tasty gajar ka halwa with icecream, gulab jamun with icecream and caramel yogurt pudding. I highly recommend to visit this hotel if you...

We were travelling back to Bangalore and decided to take a small detour to just visit this restaurant. I would say it was one of the best decision made and worth the detour! We opted for veg Andhra meals which was delicious! Also the Guntur gobi was out of this world!! They also provided ice cream as part of the meal and that was icing to the cake! They will sprinkle some red chilli powder on top of the guava ice cream scoop. My friends liked it but I preferred to have just the icecream and removed the chili. Also, for all the cleanliness freaks, please note that the washrooms are super clean ! They have also put a board with washroom cleanliness ratings! The entrance of this restaurant is quite difficult to find. It is inside The president hotel, turn left after the reception and first left that leads to the basement..

The staff were welcoming and hospitable, good ambience and clean washrooms.

We had ordered Biriyani rice, Chicken ghee roast and Caramel Custard.

Hyderabad biriyani rice was good, chicken ghee roast was spicy and had absolutely no flavour of ghee and it was spicy. I would have liked it if it was named as Guntur chicken or chilli chicken instead.

Caramel custard which is one on their list of 'All time favourites' was not good at all. And the handle of the crockery it was served in was very dirty (photo attached).
