Bigg Shots - Resto Bar — Restaurant in Karnataka

Bigg Shots Resto Bar sits on the 5th floor of Quality Inn Rockwell Grand, just a short 7 KM drive from Kempegowda International Airport. The place offers both indoor seating and a lovely poolside outdoor area, giving you the choice of a cozy or open-air dining experience. The indoor seating sofas are very untidy though and not well maintained.

We tried both dinner and buffet breakfast here during our stay in Quality Inn, and overall it was a very satisfying experience.

For dinner, they offer both à la carte and buffet. We went with à la carte and ordered Lemon Coriander soup, masala papad, honey chili potato, paneer tikka, with breads, and some refreshing mocktails. Every dish was flavorful and well-prepared and as per our need of mild spicy. A big thanks to Sourav for his attentive and courteous service, he made us feel very welcome. The only downside was the delay in serving, as each dish arrived a bit late. But once the food came, the taste and presentation more than made up for it.

The buffet breakfast, on the other hand, was absolutely fantastic. The spread was extensive, South Indian favorites like idli, vada, upma, fresh juices (watermelon and cucumber), sandwiches (veg and egg), pancakes, veggie boiled potatoes, boiled eggs, sprouts and even one non-veg dish, along with live omelette stations (masala cheese omlette was yummiest). For those preferring an English breakfast, there were multiple breads with butter, jam, and honey, plus cereals like chocos. To finish, a wide range of desserts including cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, and other sweets. Also the yogurts. The variety and quality left a lasting impression.

On the broader side, the restaurant serves multi-cuisine dishes, North Indian, South Indian, Continental, Chinese, Italian, so there’s something for everyone. Being located on the rooftop, the ambience is stylish yet relaxed, and the bar service with alcohol and even a smoking area add to the convenience.

While parking can feel tight as they have space only for 3 cars at the entrance, and occasional delays in service have been noted, these are minor hiccups in an otherwise excellent setting.

Overall, despite minor delays in service, the food quality, ambience, and staff hospitality (only at the restaurant, definitely not at the hotel) make Bigg Shots Resto Bar a great choice, whether you’re in the mood for a relaxed dinner, a lavish breakfast, or just a drink by the poolside before/after...

I had a mixed experience. I had gone to Big Shots on a Tuesday night for dinner. There were 7 of us and the restaurant was quite empty. The servers were welcoming. We were informed that international items were unavailable because the chef who specialised in it wasn't available.

Disappointing, but not enough to ruin the night. We had ordered our food and waited. 2 items (1 starter and a fried rice) came relatively quickly. During this time, a few other people came in, including another family.

We waited for almost 1 hour and 15 minutes for the remaining food to arrive at our table. Being late at night, we wanted to eat, finish our food quickly, and leave as we had work the next day. The wait time was frustratingly long. My uncle spoke to the servers and asked to speak to the manager. Unfortunately, the manager wasn't available either. We weren't given a clear answer. At one point, we were contemplating to leave the restaurant and go elsewhere.
