BK24 Basweshwar Khanavali — Restaurant in Karnataka

Absolutely the worst restaurant I've dined in Belagavi. Firstly the service is too slow although just one Menu(Thali) was being served for everyone. When I asked as to why the service was being delayed the waiter made a casual remark saying there were others before us who had been waiting for the same time. Ironically, the truth is that there were a few Police personnel who also arrived at the same time as us and were looked after immediately without any delay. Notwithstanding that when the food was finally served, there was a hair found in the Puran Poli(Holagi as it is known in Kannanda)!!! I've attached the photos of the dish for everyone to see. Again when I called the waiter he was very casual about it as if it was a regular affair. Furthermore he even charged us for this unhygenic dish. This restaurant is functioning only due to its reputation. There is another restaurant Charakha Mess right opposite this one who serve better Khanavali food, have super quick service and are very hygienic. Better avoid this place. I have celebrated my daughter's birthday here since they have a function hall as well. They missed to include Holige and started claiming I have asked them to exclude it which I never did. Instead they charged me more and blamed me only. They don't even bother about what customers say. They made us feel bad in front of all the guests because I had already told our guests what was on the menu. If you look at their reply to customer reviews they never replied to customers who have given honest and negative feedback about their services. They only replied to customers with their thank you message who have given positive feedback. Please improve your services and learn how to handle customers. Food was good but service was pathetic. I'm actually from Maharashtra, but we came to this restaurant because we were really hungry. We were on a 14 hour road trip, so this was the first good restaurant we saw. The interior is great. The food is also good, the quality as well. Everyday, they give same plate but different choices of curries. The condiments are the same. The day I came, there were 2 curries I don't really like. I don't like the capsicum curry, so I had to take atleast 1 curry, which was the sprout curry. That too, I don't usually like. But their sprout curry changed my mind. Sometimes, waiters were unattentive since we came just 30 minutes before they close. So, I'm not gonna complain about that, since they were probably hungry. But other than that, the restaurant is good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends...
